I'm not really sure what it means.....is this Dak's last year with da boys?
Cowboys going to get 35 million per year better production from Dak versus Dalton!?
Interesting signing.....of all the places, why Dallas? Dalton has something left as a starter.
It means if Dak gets hurt and misses several games, they now have a veteran backup capable of winning them some games and keeping their season afloat, something Cooper Rush couldn't do. Think about last year's Saints, Bridgewater saved their season going 5-0 in the games Brees missed, imagine if the Saints backup was an untested kid, what would have happened to their season
Dak's first four years...40 wins.
Dalton.....40 wins.
Dak, two playoff appearances. Dalton four
Completion percentage: Dak 64%, Dalton 62%
I think people forget how good Dalton was because it's the Bengals
Four or five playoff appearances for Dalton?
I always thought an 0-5 career playoff record was his hanging around his neck.
Some of those Bengal teams were tremendous. The thing that prevented them from going far was Dalton. He's a good QB, but he won't be the reason a team wins, and sometimes is the reason they lose. A less mobile Alex Smith. He's basically Kirk Cousins, at 1/10 the price. Great back up though, and great move by Dallas. Dalton has entered the Matt Cassel phase of his career. Have Backup QB will travel.
Both have wild swings if using fantasy scoring. They need a lot around them to take the pressure off of them. Dalton is a little safercousins is far better
If there was ever an average QB, its Dalton.
AgreeIf Dalton is average then Dak is not that far above that...
