Deshaun Watson

The media sure loves him, from what I've seen of him he's nothing special, the vikes played them this year and watson was decent but not really good.

Wasn't Watson leading the Texans in a stomping over Kansas City until O Brien made one of the dumbest calls in a playoff game you can make?

Watson is the real deal. Jets will take that division next year if he goes there. Well, maybe if Buffalo has a down year. Lol

I would take him over Josh Allen, no slight to Allen

Bill Obrien except for drafting Deshawn watson maybe the worst gm ever. Traded Hopkins for an injuried running back, has no first or second round picks this year. My gm trade would be to trade watson to the jets for darnold, this years #1 and 2, and next years #1 and 2. Then at #2 pick aquired from Jets, trade for multiple first rounders. Then trade jj watt for even more picks. Thats getting rid of a lot of salary as well, restocking the draft, and rolling with Darnold with a much bettor roster.

Would Be a Stupid Trade For Jets.

Watson For This Years #1 and #2

Next Year #1 and #2.

Giving Away To Much.

Keep High Picks.

Let Darnold Get To His Walk Year.

Say Bye.

Watson has played 4 yrs, the last 3 every game, he's avg 28 td's/year in a passing league. If he's got the makings of a great QB he's hiding it well.

The opening odds start here
Most of his damage came from behind this season in a 4-12 Texans campaign, but we know how dangerous he is with his feet in the open field, and in '20 had clearly his best season as evident by his 4800+ passing yards, 33 TD and 7 INT.

Can you imagine how scary he could be if he goes to a postseason contender or a fledgling team that can build around him with a promising short term fortunate outlook? Relationship with ownership and a new scenery certainly could not hurt. Just couldn't afford to oversell for him.

Keep in mind the J-E-S-T JEST JEST JEST own their pick in this and next year's draft AND Seattle's in 2021 and 2022, too.

Darnold, #2 in 2021 and in 2022 you can get the JEST #1 and have a stipulation if outside the Top 10 you get Seattle's #1, too

I do agree about trying to trade #2 if you get it from JEST to try and get more picks.

as a colts fan, i like that potential. particularly given that we don't have alot of other alternatives, and that phillip rivers made us look good, even in his twilight.

colts wouldn't be a bad spot, great o-line.
Yes, not sure they have enough to give up. They don't have top of the round picks, which really hurts them. Stafford may be a better fit, knowing the Colts won't have to give up quite as much.

true. lots of cap space, tho stafford seems long in the tooth. colts can't keep hiring pre-retirees (retire'ees? weird word)

How the Colts are constructed right now, they have a 2-3 year peak window. It is better for the team to go after Stafford in that case. You don't want to be the Bears and mortgage the future when its getting older when they traded for Cutler. Stafford has a good salary in which they can get another WR to replace Hilton.

So if The Texans Trade Watson, They'll Need a QB.

Have To Look at Teams That Have QB's, That They Want To Dump, That Texans Will Take in Trade.

Otherwise, Texans Will Have To Accept High Draft Picks Only, So That They Can Draft a Starting QB for Future.

What Teams are Looking To Dump QB's ?

And Which QB's Would Texans Accept in a Trade ?

Otherwise, it's Hoping Josh McCown Can Take You To The Promised Land.

Which is why Miami makes the most sense,

Watson is definitely gone. The rumor is three #1s.....two #2s and two defensive starters is what they want.. Great deal for Texans if they can swing it.

Well they are not getting that. It'll be much closer to the Rams/Lions trade. Don't forget, this is a team who traded their stud WR for a hurt RB.

Somebody must really believe the Jets are getting Watson.

5k in Jersey at 100/1 to win it all.

Not sure what more nuts, taking the bet or making it?

I can't believe any team is going to give Houston two #1's, two #2's and two defensive starters for Watson.

I do like the idea of Watson going to New Orleans tho.
