your movie (lay the favorite) could have been really good....think the director should have focused more on the story line/gambling and less on the romance

how much of that movie is based on reality?

That's because a girl wrote it about her and her life, not just about gambling. I too would've liked to see more of the sports gambling, but then the movie probably never would have been made.

My questions are:

Was there really that sexual tension between Dink and Beth or was that just thrown in spice things up?

Was Dink's wife really jealous of Beth and was his wife portrayed accurately in the movie compared to real life?

Seems like everyone new Beth worked for Dink. Does Dink not care if his "betting partners" were identified and linked to him?

off topic, took the kids to see Jack the Giant Slayer and that was pretty entertaining

I doubt he went to see the movie unless he was free the one day it was actually out in theaters

Bump for Dink...Watched the movie over the weekend and these are a couple of questions. Sorry if this is repeative for you, but I must just curious.
