Totally agree Jerry Jeudy is a rare diamond. Best WR Draft in years. Hope the Raiders get a chance to pick him. He is a master of Field Space like that dude on the Chiefs (Tyreek Hill) and Julian Edelman. Dennis Rodman earned a PhD in Court Space.

I wouldn't, I think Herbert has bust written all over him, I know Tua has an injury history, but if he can stay healthy he has a chance to be great, I would take the risk and gamble on greatness. FWIW, I just listened to two of the Dolphins beat writers being interviewed, and they both said the same thing, Miami is very concerned about Tua's injury history, so they're going with Herbert instead. If they don't want Tua, I would either trade down or stay at 5 and take another player, I really like that Simmons kid from Clemson, I saw him play a lot and that kid's a baller, either him or maybe one of those highly ranked O-lineman, but it's now starting to look like the're locked in on Herbert, he'll prove to be the bust I think he'll be, Tua will go on to have a great career, and the Fins will be irrelevant for another decade

At this point it's impossible to tell what's real and what's a smoke screen, but a couple of these draft guys have Tua sliding in the draft, teams are very worried about his injury they say, and according to them he might not go in the top 10, one of them now has him going 16th to Jax

Without the guy under center, the other picks won't matter. All Miami had to do was start Rosen down the stretch, they wouldn't have won a couple of games late in the season, they would have finished with the worst record, and they'd have the first pick, but for reasons I'll never understand they played Fitz at QB, he was good enough to win a few games and fuck up the whole plan, everything the Dolphins have done for the past 20 years has been a fucking disaster, they can't even tank the right way, be thankful you don't root for this shit show of an organization

Im with you on Herbert. Until the Rose Bowl he always seemed to fold during the big moments. He picked a perfect time to escape that I guess. I agree with your opinion of taking the gamble for greatness over health.
We all know how history was altered with the Dolphins being scared off by Brees shoulder surgery.

If they take Herbert, I'll spend every day for the next decade saying "We could have had Tua", this will be Culpepper/Brees all over again

Jeff Darlington has been covering the Dolphins for ESPN, this is what he tweeted 15 mins ago.

"Based on my latest convo, my mind is officially blown on potential of what might happen with the Dolphins and I know longer trust anyone and I don't like anyone and I just want this to be done because I now feel like Russell Crowe in a Beautiful Mind and In don't know what's real"

I'm now listening to another beat writer who said "The Dolphins are terrified of Tua's injuries", he said they're not taking Tua, he also said there are 5 teams who don't even have him on their board due to his injured hip. It's starting to look like Tua might fall in the draft. My head is spinning trying to figure out all this stuff, but unless all these beat writers are getting bad info (which is possible) it looks like Tua won't be a Dolphin

He thinks Juedy has a short career due to an arthritic knee, but has nothing to say about his guy Tua with a hip that might end his career, there are a handful of teams who don't even have him on their board because of his hip
