Any tout who is reluctant and/or refuses to post his year to date record has something to hide for sure.

exactly... his ML Parlays dont work in baseball, and that is all he is really good at in NCAA Hoops.

He does expect the same type of return next year in college hoops as well. I am a believer that he was lucky to be on the right side of the bell curve last season. The exact opposite is just as likely to happen, actually it is even more likely.

Do you feel the ML Parlays is the way to go in NCAA Hoops? Or do you think he just had a lucky year? I believe Gyno started doing the ML Parlays and did decent himself I think? Id I remember correctly....

Re: dsethi, how has the baseball touting been working out, how's your season?

I never said I expected the same type of return. +150 units is incredibly difficult to accomplish. I will be pleased with a much lower rate of return. I do, however, expect to have success, and that's all I've stated. I haven't put any unit value on expected success.

I am, however, very willing to make side wagers on if I will be profitable. WVU has already expressed interest in making a wager for 3-5K on if I will be profitable, and I'm open to hear other prospective side wagers.

Never have I said I'll make 10, 20, 50, 150 units next season though. I have said that I fully expect to be profitable.

But... will your customers be profitable after paying you? That is the question... 150 units is hard to do. I know bc when I ended up +100 in baseball last season and basically lost 3/4 of it in football and hoops

It was a chalky year. Can we expect that to continue next year? Probably not. If it was a dog year which happens often enough he would have been down 200 units.

Yes he, like all hot cappers, got extremely lucky. Sometimes it IS better to be lucky than good.

I didn't mean for this to turn into a Dsethi bash thread.

Although, I felt all along he should have saved it for next CBB season.

I didn't forget the trash talk where he told me I knew much less than him about winning at baseball and all I was good at was trivia...if that wasn't cocky tout talk I don't know what was.

Okay I won't ask anything else, I don't like to PM.

Doesn't it pretty much go without saying that a tout expects to be profitable? I don't think anyone bets everyday expecting to lose.

Re: dsethi, how has the baseball touting been working out, how's your season?

And it's this type of post that is precisely why it's worthless to discuss my strategies for capping college basketball. You simply do not understand. It's unfortunate because others think they understand when they do not. No point in rehashing. Oh well.

I do understand. I saw your posted bets and followed them somewhat for a while. I know you didn't only bet chalk and I also know that you were trying to buy down the moneylines essentially. The math is what tells me you had the benefit of great luck.

Your defense against anyone who doesn't agree that your betting strategy is +EV longterm is that they do not understand. It is cool though.

I don't have the time or the money , I would personally need several hundred K to consider putting in the time to take it that seriously ....selling picks would probably be the way to go for me, there is no doubt in my mind though....

I played this entire internet forum thing WRONG, and for years I kept planning on getting out, now I'm thinking I should have thought long term...too many chumps are making more money at this who have zero talent.

why would it take 100's of thousands to go tout? All it takes is one good run in any sport.

sorry for the confusion.

The chances of getting the idiots to stand up and be recognized are about as likely as people volunteering their name for the sexual predator lists.

Re: dsethi, how has the baseball touting been working out, how's your season?

We've had this argument before, so again there's really no point in having it again. I believe that my overall college basketball capping portfolio is designed for success because of the mindset I have, the research I do, and the selectivity I practice when viewing every card, dogs, chalk, and anything in between

The math is on your side from what you say, so I look forward to making a side wager with you for whatever limit we can agree upon. And as I said, that offer is on the table for other takers as well. I don't guarantee any particular rate of success, but I do feel confident enough to wager on myself to finish in the black when all is said and done after CBB.
Shouldn't a tout have to finish a little better then just "in the black". I would think they would have to do well enough to also cover their clients fees to the tout. Just looking at it as a client point of view for them to see it as worthwhile.

Yes, but all monies will be posted up front this time and only with someone completely UNBIASED. Someone like Mofome or Wil.

My side wager with WVU has nothing to do with covering fees. He believes I'll finish in the red this year, I believe I'll finish in the black.

i think you should make it a nice even 5 dime wager, i'll glady take half on you...........

Hilarious. WVU discussing college hoops with Dsethi. That is funny as hell. One guy knows how to win at sports gambling, the other doesn't. Especially when it comes to college hoops.

One guy is honest, tries to legitimately make his clients money, the other takes free shots at people, steals from numerous online casinos and books.

Truly unbelievable. Let's see how WVU weazles his way out of this bet.

Whats this based on?

I did tell JMan before the season started that D would have a harder time in bases because even the worst teams win 55-60 games. D's capping in hoops is very smart. Home court is much greater in college hoops than any other sport. The way Gyno caps is interesting, playing on/off a team a week at a time.

If you have read my posts enough to realize this well:pop:

I post in between doing several other things, that doesn't mean I have time to spend doing anything else.

I don't post when I sleep (7 hours) and I am usually gone 5 days a week (for another 40 hours working) I post in between everything else.

Ive seen a lot of negative posts made in his direction here and few positive. Dsethi, imo, is one of the best posters on any site. bright, honest, knows sports, and doesn't waiver from his beliefs.

To be truthful... I feel Jman knows baseball better than Dsethi. Not just trivia and shit like Dsethi says. Dsethi is definitely better at NCAA Hoops but I dont think his capping strategy fits baseball well at all

Gyno's idea is a good one IMO...he's not a baseball guy (admittedly) but when he started using this streak idea last yr he did seem to have a good knack for when to hop on and off, it's an interesting way to go about it.

As far as sportsbetting, you and Dsethi cannot even be discussed in the same conversation.
