Wow, CC, I wish I was looking at a similar deal. South Point has 90 dollar rooms for the weekend in question, and I'm sure the Hilton would be expensive for March Madness. Maybe I should check Hooters, they are just off the strip and was pretty cheap last time out there.
Split a 2 bedroom King Suite at PH with a buddy. They've got about 30 penthouses that you can't book in advance, but can upgrade to on arrival, and for an extra 150/night I'm hoping they'll have some available.
I haven't stayed there since it was The Aladdin, but I've played there since the PH switch and I like the atmosphere. Obviously Venetian/Palazzo ideal b/c of the stadium, it just didn't work out. I looked at Skyloft at MGM but they were booked. A little pricey but they looked like the shit.
Before I catch a bunch of "Big Baller" cracks let me just say I have a 6 month old and never get to leave the fucking house. So when I go on vacation I don't mind spending some extra money to do it the right way.
Great stories, CC. :cheers
Fish, I may take you up on that offer if I don't rent a car.:cheers
The suites at PH are 'ok' They aren't as glitzy and 'baller' as a lot of the other places in Vegas.
I got a friend a suite there one weekend when most of vegas was sold out as they are a starwood property and I was able to use points to get a room. It was a 1br suite and like I said, it was decently nice, but nothing crazy.
It's a 'fun' place with lots of younger people kinda like the palms.
All and all, I think you'll like it.
:cheers
Thanks, John, there's a rumor that the Russian may come along!:btj:
I give PVC credit for being able to get away with a little one at home. I have 8 month old twins and there is no way I can get to Vegas for this NCAA Tournament.
1st time i took the old lady to Vegas, booked a room at the Monte Carlo, we get out there around 10:00 PM on a Saturday night and they tell me "no rooms".....
could have been a real jerk or nice, i chose nice
they put us in a penthouse suite at no additional charge
now everytime i visit vegas the old lady thinks i'm staying in a room comparable to that one :shoot:

PVC, you're not bringing your 6-month old to Vegas with you? You know, leave it in a drawer like in The Hangover and throw a wicked party?
