>Posting on Friday for Monday spot for Monday night game with +6’s in Las Vegas market...
Monday, January 13, 2020—283 Clemson +6 -105 (MGM Mirage)

9 pm EST/6 pm PST (ESPN, WatchESPN)—The number is (LSU minus) 5½ everywhere Offshore right now (Friday morning) but now 6 almost everywhere here in balmy Las Vegas with heavy Tigers money tipping the scale enough to move in the FBS Championship game on Monday night at the Mercedes-Benz SuperDome (FieldTurf CORE) in New Orleans between #1 LSU (14-0 SU, 9-4-1 ATS) and #3 Clemson (14-0 SU, 11-3 ATS).

Both teams possess elite QBs with defending national champions Clemson (NCAAF-best 28-14-1 ATS L3 seasons) having Trevor Lawrence—who will return to huis Death Valley next season—and LSU boasting 2019 Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow, the best QB to come out of the SEC and FCS in quite some time. Remember the great Mariota-Winston debate? This game having these two studs puts that whole 2015 NFL Draft into its proper context. Anyway, grabbing the 6 with such a strong and proud team seems wise, especially in a game in which the ACC’s Tigers can win (CLEM +195 M/L, 5Dimes).

The skill guys and Defenses for both teams are amazing and this may be the best FCS National Championship Game matchup yet, but Clemson may have the edge on Defense with the #1 Scoring Defense (11.5 ppg), the #2 team in Scoring Margin (+32.9 ppg), a QB who is 25-0 SU as a Starter and one of the best Head Coaches in the history of NCAAF in Dabo Swinney along with the best ATS Record (11-3). Before the CFP Playoffs started, Clemson was pegged as a 1-point Favorite over LSU (William Hill), so this number seems a bit out of whack with people possibly only remembering what they have seen last: LSU running out to a 49-14 lead vs #4 Oklahoma in its CFP Semifinal.

I like how all these new Sports Gambling writers and talkers are so dumb. They say the darndest things. I just read on a site called College Spun, “According to ESPN’s David Payne Purdum, the majority of sportsbooks have LSU as a 6-point favorite heading into the final game of the season.” First off, this information (the Point Spread) has been, and always will be in the public domain and isn’t something you need to cite Purdum on. Do your homework. Look at the line(s) yourself. And please distinguish sportsbooks between illegal and Offshore and legal and US (or wherever). Specific sportsbooks have specific lines (with specific juices at specific points in Time). Too many catering to whom The Powers That Be tell them to talk about. There was no FOX Bet or DraftKings years ago. Lemmingositiy.

I am not worried they’ll get to our level as long as they keep thinking hat Las Vegas makes the opening line and and moves the number. I’d say most most denizens of Sin City are still betting on their Dumbphones the way they did 10 years ago. Too many of these talking heads with suits are Lemming parrots. Do they even bet on each silly Pick? And why do they talk so much of Props? And have you ever heard them talk of the Offshore market, its players and its role? Do they know who the Line Originator was/is? Oh well. Fuck 'em. For now. The World is changing too fast and Dumb is in charge everywhere. Four months without a Mailbox. Clemson can win this game and will now go in with that underdog mindset.

Clemson 38 LSU 31

Saturday, January 11, 2020—200174 Everton -105 (5Dimes)

10 am EST/7 am PST (NBC Sports Gold)—Priced at -145 here in Las Vegas—I just bet $50 on the Toffees at Palace Station—these -105 odds Offshore are truly value-laden for this Saturday EPL fixture between host Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion from Goodison Park (Desso GrassMaster) in Walton, Liverpool, England. The Total here is at 2½o -116 (Bookmaker).

Even with Paul Pogba still in it and Chelsea FC icon Didier Drogba long gone and Liverpool having sewn up the championship by Thanksgiving-Christmas, the English Premier League is better than ever. I am unsure why the big discrepancy (almost 50 cents) in the Three-Way market for his game but if backing Everton, Zero Fucks is exactly the number of Fucks you should give. I definitely wish my $50 was at -105. My dreams is fading down the railway line.

Looking at recent Form and the series history, we see both are 2-1-2 (W-L-D) in the L5 meetings (all EPL) with Everton (LWWDD) outscoring Brighton & Hove (DWLLD) by a slight 8-6 margin. The Home team is unbeaten over the L5 meetings (4-1-0) after the Seagulls 3-2 Home win in October and Everton has outscored Brighton 5-1 the L2 meetings on Goodison Road and are an unbeaten 4-2-0 at Home vs the 14th-place Gulls (6-6-9), outscoring them 14-7, so, the Toffees have never lost to Brighton & Hove at Home and that’s the perceived edge. Don’t want to be your slave. Don’t want to be your slave. Don’t want to be your slave...

With Fabian Delph (EPL-high 47.95 Passes per 90 Minutes) back in the fold and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (8 goals), Gylfi Sigurðsson and the electric Richarlison (7 goals), 11th-place Everton (7-4-10) is playing better after an unappetizing start to the season and should be in a foul mood after being bounced from the FA Cup midweek by rivals Liverpool who never, ever lose and may be worth looking at in the UEFA Champions League Futures market (+475, 5Dimes) with Jürgen Klopp three steps ahead of the rest of us. She might be Ukrainian. She could be Australian. She could be the alien. Send her to me.

Everton 2 Brighton & Hove Albion 0

Saturday, January 11, 2020—784 UT Rio Grande Valley -19 -105 (Heritage)

8 pm EST/5 pm PST—The Vaqueros of UT Rio Grande Valley (5-10 SU, 2-7-1 ATS) gladly welcome Chicago State (4-14 SU, 5-10 ATS) to UTRGV Fieldhouse in Edinburg, TX on Saturday evening for a WAC matchup and the first meeting between these two teams this season. The two schools will play the return leg at the Jones Convocation Center in Chicago on Saturday, February 8 (1:05 pm ET/10:05 am PT), where under a different venue name, I once witnessed one of the worst concerts of my current Human Life (Psychedelic Furs).

CSU is now ranked #353 of 353 teams in Division I by KenPom.com, below SWAC rats Mississippi Valley State (1-13 SU, 4-9 ATS) and Cougars faders are now 4-0 ATS the L4 games in losses to Missouri (91-33, MIZ -33), Utah Valley (94-73, UVU -17), Seattle (86-54, SEA -13½) and New Mexico St (93-54, NMS -30) on Thursday night in Las Cruces in a game which saw the Cougars score just 2 of the first 24 points (NMS 22 CSU 2). Xavier Johnson (17.6 ppg), Andrew Lewis (12.1 ppg) and Chicago State have lost all four 1H and 2H lines ATS and are 0-12 ATS combined in all three markets in losses averaging 37.5 ppg.

When these two met here last year, UTRGV ran out to a 36-17 lead at Halftime in an eventual 77-46 rout after a pedestrian 41-29 2H. CSU has traveled much this season and seem to play poorly in the first and last 5 minutes of each Half as the 22-2 scoreline vs he Aggies shows. UTRGV has just 2 ATS Wins, so this Pick is at a much lower level (Yellow) than the NMS (BE$T BET) pick with the Cougars having the potential (15%) to somehow hang with the hosts. This team wins on the Road once every decade and we’ve just started a new one.

UTRGV boasts three guys in double-figure scoring in Jordan Jackson (15.4 ppg), Lesley Varner II (14.3 ppg) and Javon Lee (11.3 ppg) and have six guys who average between 4.3 ppg and 7.9 ppg and have been just waiting for a team like CSU to pad their statistics after facing Creighton, #24 Texas Tech and Oklahoma in Non-Conference play last month. UTRGV have beaten CSU 8 straight times SU by an average of 12 ppg and should roll by between 17 and 32 points here depending on the Cougars energy, effort and Luck. I’ll say it’s 28.

UT Rio Grande Valley 77 Chicago State 49

Ryan Tannehill's # is 17. Otherwise known as Q. Tennessee scored 20 points against the Patriots. 20 points scored. 20 points total. 2020. There is your Super Show winner.

Patriots scored 3 points in the 1st qtr and 10 points in the second qtr. Russy Wilson is #3. Grappo is #10. There is your NFCe championship matchup.

Have to find Tanny an opponent. I think LSU rolls Monday. Joe Joe Burrow's # is 9. Seahawks beats the Eagles 17-9 twice.
