8:15 pm EDT/5:15 pm PDT (FSD, FSKC, DirecTV 663, DirecTV 672, MLB Extra Innings)—We better fade them Tigers while we still can, and fade ‘em before they head farther West to Oakland to play the A’s where the numbers may reach the (minus) 400s and maybe -500, as high as MLB odds can get. Old Timers haven’t seen many (plus) 300s in the history of MLB betting, yet now we are starting to see it when some of the uber-Rats play on the Road.

The Royals have winning Records against nobody this Regular Season and are 8-9 vs Detroit after Game 1 on Tuesday at Kauffman Stadium (Kentucky Bluegrass/Perennial Ryegrass) in Kansas City, MO, a 6-5 victory on a walk-off HR by Ryan O’Hearn. KC went 11-8, 11-8 and 12-7 the L3 seasons vs the Tigers, their AL Central Division bottom-feeding rivals along with these Royals and the White Sox. One more bad team and we relegate the entire division to AAA., Mr. Commissioner.

The Probables here are ageless RHP Edwin Jackson (2-8, 9.35 ERA) for Detroit and RHP Jakob Junis (8-12, 4.93 ERA) for KC. On Aug. 9 in Jackson’s return to Motown, he went 6 1/3 IP vs these Royals, allowing just 1 ER, but recently the 35-year-old—who was born in West Germany—has been rocked, allowing 16 ER and 21 Hits in his L12 1/3 IP. Yikes. There are small planes landing at the North Las Vegas Airport that make less noise than my washer. Seriously.

Junis looked okay in a ND vs the A’s in his last start, allowing 4 ER on 7 Hits in 6 IP, but he did retire 10 of the L12 batter he faced. John Hicks (.364) has fared well vs Junis while Merrifield and Soler have homered off Jackson.

Detroit is the worst team in MLB, but this is no cakewalk series. The Tigers are 22-47 on the Road heading into Game 1—KC is 22-46 on the Road (BALT 23-46)—while the Royals are still a nasty 28-43 at Home. They need to shorten the MLB season, Palm Tree. March to November is too much. The good folks over at Covers.com tell me Detroit is 20-42 L62 Wednesdays, 16-41 L57 Road, 15-40 L55 vs AL Central, 11-51 L62 vs RHP and 14-54 L58 on Grass, even Kentucky Blue and Rye. The Tigers on 0-0 on Animal Cookies Grass made by Nature’s Chemistry here in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Tigers are 3-8 in Jackson’s L11 Road starts and 2-5 in his L7 Starts overall. KC is 10-25 L35 overall and 10-25 L35 on Grass, so if they had an 2019 MLB Suckfest, both the Tigers and Royals would be invited along with the Orioles (45-92) and the Marlins (48-88) over in the Senior Circuit. All four may lose 100 games. But we don’t care about that, we want to know why take the shitty Royals at a near 2-to-1 price? Don’t take them. This is my Pick today. I am addicted to fading the Tigers and we will run the smallest or risks.

This Pick would be at my lowest (Straight Bet) level (Red, $20/10), but still the best Pick today in my eyes with so many monster chalks roaming the betting board. I parlay many big ones for $5 (Tues—CLE-HOU-CUBS-OAK-LAD) and then pretend I don’t care until the early ones win and then I need a late team or two to win and then I become some crazy, degenerate, constantly swearing, insane Man screaming at his fucking TV about a stupid fucking strike call that wasn’t in a man-made box the Ump can’t see. For $5. Parlays are like Roller Coaster rides and fake Titties (and padded Bras), like I told JK on The Talking Box one weird night years ago. Buy the ticket, take the fucking ride, right Doc?

When I yell at my TV, the Neighbors think I’m nuts and the Cat runs and hides like it’s his fault or I’m mad at him while the Fish just chills in his Water giving Zero Fucks about the screaming, balding Homo Sapien Sapien outside his tank. He is old. And he is wise. And he has never had a Parlay. He eats the same thing every day. And he has the least of us all, yet he is the calmest. Love this Fish.

Anyway, Junis is feeling good of late and I have never seen a Starter with an ERA near 10 (Jackson), so the line is spot on. I will be betting this one, but like $20 to win $10, something many of you serious eog dudes aren’t so fond of. I do not care. I don’t tell you not to fuck Frogs or eat Capers. You do your goofy tings, I’ll do mine. I watch Big Brother and wear Snooki slippers for God’s sake and say “tings” instead of “things.” I’d say I have issues, but I’ve seen y’all drive around here and on the Smartphone 24/7, so please do one.

I would not take a Pick from someone saying to take the crap-ass Royals at -200, but I am not asking anyone to take, tout or bet anything. I am writing Letters together to form Words to put them together to make Sentences. And I am telling you what I think the Best Bet on the board is (that isn’t over -200), and that I am betting the least amount on my own scale—based on the presumed price of a decent Pizza ($20). It must be very hard being a Tout.
