Contestants will be able to hide their selections by merely posting seconds before kickoff.
Why change the rules for Week 17?
Once again the Rules are:
Each NFL week, contestants submit a team to LOSE.
If the team loses, the contestant advances to the following week.
If the team wins OR ties, the contestant is eliminated.
You can only pick each NFL team ONCE during the season.
Entries must be submitted prior to kickoff of the contestant's game.
In case of ties, prize money will be divided evenly among all winners at season's end.

I assume BigD and/or Kane could go a different direction if they wanted to gamble for a bigger share of the $1,000 pot.
The two obviously have a little more "equity" in the contest money at this point by using the largest ML dog (that hasn't been used before) which will likely be the Raiders.
A way to get some "guaranteed" return would be, for example, take the Week 17 Bears to lose (or any dog that hasn't been used before) and do a $83 ML hedge @ +200 to win. If the Bears lose, you win at least $250 (another pick might "lose") - hedge = $167, if the Bears win, you pocket $166 ( plus you have some contest equity, if the other 3 selections all "lose").

Pretty much set there will be a multi chop unless there is a massive upset. Should extend into the playoffs. I know kane will never agree.
What you could do is pay kane’s sharia and go all balls out or nothing those posters with balls.
