ESPN still learning

Headline reads Azarenka upsets Serena. They ought to know who was the favorite if they are embracing gambling along with the rest of the sports world.

Many of ESPN's headlines and background research are done by interns who can barely find their way to the john. I used to email ESPN with corrections and suggestions, only to find some snot nosed know-it-all at the other end. I quickly learned it was a waste of time.

They don't care. They look at rankings and call it an "upset."

How many times have we seen a T25 CBB school lose to an unranked one and EVERYONE In the media will call it an "upset" - even though the unranked school was the fave!? Too many times to count!

That excuse was ok in the past when they acted all Disney and ignored gambling. Doesn't work any more when they got the lines up everywhere and are starting up a Vegas studio as they go hard after gambling interest.

................only problem here is they hired away Joe Fortenbaugh from his Bay Area radio gig. He is BRUTAL! One of the very best fades out there. Hard to take that show seriously when Joe and Anita Marks are considered "experts"

The opening odds start here
How many times are we watching a baseball, football, basketball, or hockey game and even the best of us commentators, play by play announcers and sports journalists broadcast an incorrect score, player or game fact but neither their counterpart or themselves correct the untrue statement? I mean, once in awhile is forgiveable but given the circumstances of a reputation of an establishment such as ESPN, it's plain stupidity and carelessness. Automatically and subconsciously they look at seeding and are clueless when it comes to odds, assuming the higher seed is/was favored.

Remind me again which network airs the program, "Daily Wager?"
