I remember a high-level UNLV basketball assistant under Lon Kruger once offered a surprising comment on a subpar Fresno State basketball team.
Off the record, the UNLV assistant said there are "a lot of fleas on those dogs" when referencing Fresno State's starting five.

Fresno sat leading scorers, now New Orleans University sits 4 including leading scorers.
NOLA sits not specific if betting or point shaving. If leading scorers are sat, obv shaving inquiry.
Legal wagering has opened a Pandora's Box, that we know of. How many more?

When you have huge sponsorship from gaming sites, anything is possible.
I used to laugh at some of these suspicious outcomes involving the spread on social media.

there was a Fox sports one that actually followed the team that year like netflix does now. it was crazy. Eog radio guest Ken Pavia was attempting to rep Avondre Jones and had to bail him out jail twice. He fronted him 30K and avondre was off the team shortly there after.

The players see how much other players are getting and feel short changed.
Then someone presents them with a way to make cash for "not exceeding expectations" and bam.
I agree with Heim. They way these fixes are bet is just stupid. Using people who have no bet history to suddenly want to bet thousands on New Orleans or Fresno St games is easy to figure out.
If this was done right they could use the PPH market, offshores, and the big legals to get down big but not alarming amounts and stay under the radar.
