Packing Checklist Reminder

Clothing - Decide what type of clothing will be appropriate for your destination and the activities you will be doing. Consider the weather - check the forecast when packing. And don't forget to pack nicer clothes if you are planning a night on the town, fine dining or theater.

Socks and Underwear - Believe it or not, these are easily overlooked items!

Shoes - Bring at least one pair of comfortable shoes, and any others you think you'll really need. The first tip to packing light is it minimize the number of shoes you bring.

Toiletries - This includes hair care products (like shampoo) as well as toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush or comb, deodorant, razor, contact solution, make-up, perfume or cologne, and any medications you may need.

Swimsuit - Not just for beach vacations, a swimsuit takes up very little room and is nice to have if your hotel has a pool, whether indoor or outdoor.

Sunglasses - No matter what your destination, bring a pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes from bright sunlight.

Jacket and umbrella - Again, checking the weather before you go is the best way to be prepared.

Camera - Bring along a camera and extra film to capture beautiful scenery and memories from your vacation.

Calling card - Wireless phones can't always be relied upon away from home, and hotel rates can be high. A calling card is a good option if you want to stay in touch while you are away.
