Early money on OAK until the story broke.....anyone see Cam in Vegas next year?

I don't think Gruden has ever liked Carr's game.

Gruden used to be in my top 5 of NFL coaches.

Not any longer. He's too hard-headed. NFL has passed him, and he is too hard-headed to admit it and switch it up.

I have Da Raiduhs U6 RSW. I counted it as a LOSS when they were 6-4. Now.................maybe? If I get a PUSH from this I will count it as a Win!

Gruden won a Superbowl with Brad Johnson he aint all that bad .. Raiders need to somehow find a way to steal Tua in the draft and let him play in that brand new stadium

Listen man. Oakland should have torn Jaguars apart in 2H. Something was off and we are beginning to get a feel for why.

But Gruden will get his time to change things.

Gruden is like a preadolescent little girl when it comes to QB's. Falls in and out of love at the drop of a hat. Luckily for Oakland/Vegas, they have Mayock, one of the sharpest guys in the game. If he continues to draft like last year, they will be real good in short order, in spite of Gruden.

I watched the end of the game. They sat on the lead. It doesn’t help when the WR drops an easy pass on 3rd down with 2:30 left, forcing a long FG. It is missed, but a Jax penalty allows a rekick. Yup, missed that also. We know what happens next - Jax drives down the field and wins the game. I had Oak wheeled in every teaser also.

I don't know what OAK true odds are to make playoffs but I can see a scenario where they make it and it could come down whether Texans rest their starters v. TENN, naturally OAK has to win.

I think there's a 5th thing that must happen. Browns beating Bengals or a couple other possibilities if Browns lose.
5 team parlay but the 5th leg has multiple outs.

I'm too lazy to figure out why the Browns beating the Bengals would matter.

Only shows how skewed books are to the "Must Win" mentality (also various players sitting out). Without the Week 17 "adjustments", Bal would be -350 or so, and Hou -140 ( and Indy -130, Oak +200) giving the 4 teamer about a 10% chance. As it stands, books make it about a 5% chance.

We have to wait to see how the Raider's gell in their new Diggs. This year Chuckie Doll is really a nursemaid at an air terminal keeping players happy before boarding their flight to McCarron Field.

Just read in "Bleacher Report" that the Raiders also need (in addition to the 4 teamer) at least one win from either the Bears, Lions, Chiefs or Pats as well in order to win the 4-way tiebreaker.

Great trivia question is: when does an AFC playoff scenario potentially depend on a Week 17 NFC game(s) or vice versa?
