Doesn't the rail usually have an advantage in harness ?

4% has to be remarkably low, especially since the 1 is usually on or near the favoritism.

if a horse isn't a speed horse, just a typical harness horse it's likely you will be 3rd or 4th to the first quarter

that isnt an enviable position to be in because your hand is forced

Blueline, do you have a huge database for harness also like you do tbreds?? If so, what stats do yo most look at? I feel like harness is pretty simple... You bet the early speed most of the time and it wins, but the early speed is usually 3/5

I believe Hawthorne has 3 horizontal carryovers tonight. The early pick 4 and pick 5 and the late pick 4 and 5. Only 3 of those pools I believe.

after a race yesterday heard a woman say it was her first time and she bet 20win on 7
I looked at the board and it had $ 89 on it

there are races there where going into the race the entire field is seperated by a couple of lengths...getting the right trip can lead to prices

also if horses of lesser quality get roughed up or face some adversity they are spent and done it opens the door to prices
