HEAD TO HEAD NCAA BASKETS CONTEST----21 SIGNED UP SO FAR, looking for 32

NO POST MINIMUN REQUIRED SINCE IT IS POST-UP...EVERYONE IS ELIGIBLE. BASKETS STARTS TOMORROW. PLEASE SIGN UP IN THIS THREAD!!!




This will be a 50 or 100 Buck Post op at one of the sports Books advertised here on the site..Up to the players what they want to spend.

We will have to have 16 players....The first 16 to post op will be the contestants.....if we have more than that we will expand....but it has to be Multiple of 16's....(16, 32, 48, etc...)

First contest we will seed the guys by order of signup.....1 will play 16, 2 will play 15 etc...


It will be a Best of 5 series....5 days in a row you will pick 3 games ATS by lines I post...First Capper to win 3 days will advance to the next round. IN case of a Tie on records for a day the Tie breaker will be the capper whose team Beats the spread by the most points. (ex...if unc is -3 and they win by 20 and the other guy has Duke -2 and they win by 4....the guy who had UNC would win bacause of greater Margin of Victory)


This will be NCAA tourney style...You win your matchup you advance to the Next round..until we are down to a champion...ONce you lose you are out of that contest


After the finals are over a new contest will start and the seedings will be determined by Won Loss record in head to head MAtuchups.


We will have a contest around every 2-3 weeks as it will take that long to complete one Contest...



You will Recieve one point for each head to head win and 0 Points for a Loss. At the end of the Regular season We will pay the Top 3 places depending on How much the entry fee is......the payour will be 60%, 30% 10% with 16 players....if we have 32 we will structure the payouts Differently....

So we hold up sending $$$ until we know where to send it,no ?$200 is cool with me but whatever U decide .Dumb ? Why wouldn't we use lines from our sponsor sportsbook or does that make your job harder ?Appreciate your efforts .

Please forgive my ignorance. The "Post-up" concept is new to me. Please explain! Will the knock-out tourney be open to people making a 100USD deposit?

Yes We will be using the overnight lines from our sponsoring sportsbook....Unlesss they don't post overnite lines then we will use Pinnacle's or Olympic's overnite lines....All threads will be posted by 8 pm the night before if at all possible...With the deadline being tip of the first game the day of the games.....As we currntly do our present contests...


We I am keeping it to 100 so we get more participants...If alot of people are interested in teh $200 postup then Let me know we could try that....I just want to try to make this affordable for everyone...Once we start this Tourney then people will see how much fun it is..

yes....you deposit the money into the Sponsoring Book. They will give us a Unique account that we all will deposit money into....You will deposit the money into your account then you/me will call and get the money transferred to the EOG tourney account. Have to do it that way so all the peeps don't have access to the account.....The sportsbook Usually throws in some money as well since they are getting new players..Then at the end of the Year the winners will have the money won transferred back into thier accounts. I would suggest that people send more than the 100 bucks and make a few bets at the sponsoring sportsbook....That way it gives you a chance to possibly try a new place out and the sportsbook gets another potential Player. If People that Post Up are actually gambling at the site..Next contest or next year when we have the contest again...They will put more money on top of our Post Up's:cheers

Sounds cool .Thanks for breaking it down for all of us .Good ideas about posting games the nite before & sending a few extra bucks to check out the sponsoring site .Either have an account or have considered having one @ about all sportsbooks listed so will be good way to kill 2 birds with one stone .

Should help whichever sportsbook sponsors this too .Only makes sense to be checking the lines@ the book where the contest lines are going to be coming from & also playing there so good chance for them to pick up some depositors .Peace
