Here's something I haven't seen in awhile

The opening odds start here
A game that could be taking place after the Super Bowl is finished or decided (or still could be going on at the tail end during). I see Cal vs Stanford scheduled to take place at 10pm EST. The pre Super Bowl tradition of no games starting at or cutting into the game is still taking effect.

Good observation, JIMMY.

With the spread of legalized national sports betting, why not a regular-scheduled early game and/or late game sponsored by FanDuel or DraftKings?

Back in the day, a lot of college hoop coaches, Bob Knight included, railed against late starts on Big Monday when ESPN asked some teams to play games at 9:00 p.m. PT.

Santa Anita moves up their post times on Super Bowl Sunday.

First post today in Arcadia is 11:00 a.m. PT.

Nobody wants to compete against an event that will draw 100 million viewers.

I remember there used to be an NBA game after the Super Bowl in the 90s. I'm sure it got a ton of action from those trying to get even. I remember it well because I was standing in line to cash some tickets after one of the games, probably mid 90s and I wanted to get down on the Blazers that night with some of my winnings. The line of course went on forever and I got to the window about 3 minutes too late to make the bet, but it turned out well because the bet would have lost.

When did they play the Lingerie Bowl? Wasn't it on SB day?

I miss it.

There was some enormous talent on the field.
