Curry biggest contribution is he revolutionized the 3 point shot....he changed the game. Everybody started looking for the next
Steph Curry.

Fourteen of the 15 players on the CBS list made the all-NBA team somewhere between 10 and 15 times.

It would have been more interesting to see how many times each player made First team All-NBA.

Wilt and Oscar FAR too low. Curry not a top 15. Wilt is clear, unchallenged #1. When you've led the league in Pts, Rebounds, and Assists, you'll never be dethroned unless someone else does it. Oscar in top 5.

Wow Wilt averaged only 30 ppg. He must of stuck around way after his prime to bring his scoring average down.

Wilt is way way too high. he played against white midgets to rack up huge numbers and when he did face someone his size, aka russell he didn't do shyt.

top 3 looks perfect.

kobe is way way too low. how in the fk did he win only 1 mvp?

Bill Russell #1 defense=titles. I’m with Railbird Kawhi,Nash in logo and Kobe out.

Over-rated. He played on super super super teams coached by Auerbach

his first year in the league he had 5 teamates that were Hall of Famers

the next year he haad 6 teamates that were hall of famers.

and he competed against, what? 8 teams?

Bill Russell also one three CA state titles, 2 NCAA titles. 16-0 in title games plus he carried Nelson,Heinsohn and Jones to HOF
If he played in NY or LA it would be the Bill Russell trophy not LarryObrian

The CBS list is more about the 15 best résumés.

Russell's résumé is hard to beat.

But I need more nuance in my assessments.

All-NBA teams are comprised of three teams of five players apiece.

Only first team All-NBA team status should be used as a criteria to separate all-time greats.

It's a helluva list but
NO George Gervin and No Connie Hawkins No Roger Brown ?
hmmmmmm i'd have somehow snuck them in..
And I strongly and respectfully disagree with Sportsmylife (and the list and I'm sure many others) about Wilt Chamberlain who I would with certainty put ahead of Russell and Jabbar.

Bird's lack of athleticism cost him more on the defensive end of the court than the offensive end.
