Feels like Golden State delayed the inevitable last Monday by ending the game on an improbable 9-2 run.

Toronto led 103-97 and owned possession of the basketball with three minutes remaining in the game before 20,000-plus at Scotiabank Arena.

And then head coach Nick Nurse called timeout.

Kawhi played poorly until taking the game over in the fourth quarter when scoring 10 straight points in a span of one minute and 47 seconds.

Hmmm...

I tried the Mystics on the money line tonight at +145.

They lost by 8.

In some respects, you could say I saved the vig.

I want the three-point head start Thursday night.

Missed +3.5 yesterday.

Interesting stat from ESPN:

Only 3 times in NBA Finals history has the road team won 4 times in a row. The 3rd time was GS on Monday.

Never has the road team won 5 straight.

Thanks for the note, Bob.

I'd like to see Kawhi take the game over from the start.

Don't look to get others involved or wait for the game to come to him.

And then head coach Nick Nurse called timeout.
And iced his own team. He also allowed Golden State to regroup defensively. Finally, he didn't force Kerr to use his last timeout to regroup, thus depriving him of it for use later in the game (for example: to advance a dead ball with a timeout -- the most ridiculous rule in all of sport.).

All for a dumb reason -- he was going to lose some timeouts. No problem -- you didn't need them anyway -- Golden State did. And Steve Kerr and the Warriors thank you.
