I think it's time

I'd just like to take a sentence or two to point out how much we all have in common and how no one is calling one another names or trying to outwit one another.

There has been no attacks on others beliefs, opinions, there are no libtards or racist right winged idiots accusations closing in on 250 posts (dismissing BR's 2 posts) and we don't have to attack one another constantly if we dont choose too.
Thank you for proving what I hoped to be true when I started the thread idea.
Carry on:)

Alright gents
Favorite live sporting event you have attended of all time? Game 163 padres vs Rockies and holiday slide in extra innings

Do you like the NL DH and extra innings player starts on 2nd? I hate the extra innings rule, fine with the DH.

Least favorite city or town you've spent too much time in? Boston, MA. For me

Things you'll spend money on regardless of financial situation or normally frugal? My dog gets groomed weekly and spent 40k on vet Bills last 3 years of my old dogs life. Refuse to shop at whole foods because of the prices.

Top 3 albums of all time-
Led zeppelin- Led Zeppelin 2
Kendrick Lamar-Good kid, maad city
Mac Miller-Swimming (weird time in my life)

Worst vice- I drink way too much caffeine and am fully addicted to online shopping. Its non sensical. The amazon algorithm is a death blow every since the shutdown began
2009 6ot Syracuse vs. UConn game at MSG. I've been to the Garden several times and have seen electric Knicks games, but never did the energy leave the world's most famous arena. McNamara had the crowsd oohing and aaahing with every made trifecta, and to this day I shake my head in awe. It was probably my best Dick Vitale impersonation ever. I had those in the stands giving me standing O's after hearing me say the term 'ptp'er' about 3 dozen times.

I feel the same way about the universal DH, but the extra innings rule better only be for this season and only contributes to why I refuse to show interest in baseball this season.

Give me 40 nuggets for $5 anyday as the BK app has become a daily staple

What concerns me about the extra inning rule is once its in, they will not remove it. It's all about catering to the kids now.

This would be a temporary example to experiment the rule change for only this seadon. Accepting the minimum 3 batter rule in the future was a lot for me to accept. If the make this extra innings rule permanent, I will bid adieu to the sport.

Hey Drink, interested in your opinion on Brian Flores, I was really impressed with the job he did last year, he got his guys to play hard all season, and despite a lack of talent they were a competitive team after the first month. I know it might be hard to fully evaluate a coach based off one year, but I think the Dolphins finally found the right guy

Give Tua 2 years. That hip is going to take time but honest to God I've never seen a better pocket passer since Deshaun at Clemson his sophmore year. I feel Tua will have a better career than Burrow if he can remain healthy.

Know very little about the NFL Kane. Worked on it for a month straight in march and my read on Flores is hes very under heavy and played at 25th (ish) slowest tempo despite trailing in most games. Belechek disciple so not surprising and obviously a intelligent guy who probably deserved a head coaching job sooner than he recieved. Cant determine much about a coach on a sample size of 16 games in a first year and rebuild spot.

Honestly I think the coaching gap in college to NFL is wide. A mediocre NFL coach can mask it for quite some time with talent where as a mediocre college coach has 2 maybe 3 years tops.
NFL has coaches with resumes that
Woouldnt allow them a HRC position at most major college programs. Really weird the fraternal setup the NFL has to a outsider looking at it for a first time.

You must have had that iconic Farrah poster as a kid, she was the only poster I had on my wall not sports related

Well you seem very down so I'm here to tell you that Houston is the real deal at ECU. Not many in the programs history can coach and recruit like him. I dont recall what we disagreed about but I wish you nothing but luck and optimism going forward.

I don’t think they make the Zonkers any more. They were owned by the same company who owned Fiddle Faddle. They were spun off a few times, haven’t seen them in a few years.

Quirky TV show - Alias Smith and Jones

Glen Larson knock off of Butch & Sundance.

wasn't all that bad a series; the second season ratings were not that great, so every episode a buxom lady would wear a low cut dress and bend down slightly in front of the camera, a little tittilation hoping to increase viewership.

sadly one of the leads, Pete Deuel committed suicide and the show would soon ride off into the sunset.
