I thought it was Tuesday but could be wrong.

In 2019, there were no games on the Monday following Selection Sunday.

But, if memory serves, I remember a quick turnaround for a late Monday night game after Selection Sunday in recent years.

A Monday night game makes sense for CIT or CBI teams because teams knew in advance they would not be invited to the NCAA or NIT.

That means pick a lot of the overrated teams from the West that wouldn't have a chance in the real tourney but popular in the west coast bias.

Like Gonzaga, SDState and so on. Neither would sniff the Elite 8, let alone Final Four but a solid choice in this format.

Hell even St Mary probably do well if they keep them off the court.
