Don Best urgent messages are not urgent. They get off newswires only so some are way behind. There is no such thing as anyone getting injuries faster than another service. It is all gathered from newswires

Having been around for 10 years, I do have lots of connections that pass on good information to me...

In this case, one of my BEST sources and closest gambling buddies who I trust dearly informed me that MANNY was OUT for the Red Sox before any of the sports books had this information..

I posted it here thinking that some of you would use it to your advantage because despite the fact that MANNY has been in a slump, The Red Sox are clearly not as good a team without MANNY in the starting line up...

Also, I was curious to see what many of you thought the sharper bet was in this case. I kept on struggling between wagering on the Angels at plus $1.46 or the UNDER 9 1/2 EVEN. In fact, I almost parlayed the two, and wished I had done it now, but I am happy I went with the ANGELS in retrospect...

Another thing I did was to INFORM the book, in this case it was GRANDE, that MANNY was OUT and they did thank me for telling them...

I am also curious to hear from some of you as to which bet is the sharper one to make with someone like MANNY RAMIREZ out of the STARTING line up against a very good team in the Angels..

Does anyone know which of the two plays is the better of the two options given the above scenario?

I always thought it was the UNDER despite the fact that in this case I went with the Angels, but I also suspect it depends on how much of a DOGGIE you are playing and what the TOTAL is....

Can someone enlighten us?
