He was 20, a local bowling alley could very well have kids he knew from high school working there(or he was meeting them there), maybe he stopped in to talk.

We dont know any real details - all twitter rumors and leaks, but I thought I read that he bought the ammo the day before or even on the way to the shooting, that's weird.

He supposedly spent a lot of time at a gun range practicing, why wouldn't he have plenty of ammo already? People who shoot a lot keep a lot of ammo around.
