likely to increase income tax because of the Fed stimulus checks paid ? I know some probably don't have a state income tax anyway, but most states do have one. Since they know it's NOT taxable as income on the Federal level for 2020 taxes..

Taxes will go up whether there is a stimulus or not. I would expect more mid-size cities to employ a city tax also.

My city has a personal property tax, which for me is only on the car. I don't expect that to go up, but it could. State taxes is where I think the increase will be.

many people move to fla for that reason or use it as their home base at least. However jeter got caught by IRS doing this while playing in NY his last few years. Some hoops to jump over to qualify

Tax increases are highly political, the blue states with dem legislatures are far more likely than the reverse. of course they always were.

CA residents are now paying close to 40% per gallon gas as state tax, and this does not include today's massive sell off. It is conceivable we could pay only tax as the price for crude and gas evaporates.
