GMs believe crazy shit like a guy has a "playoff" mode. But if there was some internal issues caused by having Williams around then its a good move. These stars will have played relatively little all season so they can just be on the floor another 5 minutes a game, the bench scorer isn't such a big deal.

In Rondo's case, it was true or at least has been, Not sure how closely you followed UniBron LY but he was fucking awful in the regular season and I mean bad, He was brilliant in the playoffs.
