Larry Walker A Hall of Famer Thanks to Sabermetrics

In his first seven years on the ballot, Walker never got the necessary 75% of the vote. But campaigns on his behalf —
driven by analytics and amplified by social media — compelled voters to give Walker a second look. Edgar Martinez
got in on his last try too, thanks to a similar campaign.

I love two-way players in both baseball and basketball.

Run prevention is just as important, and maybe more important, as run production.

I see there is still one voter alive that believes no one should get in with 100% of the votes. Jeter 1 vote short of that.

One voter left Jeter off his ballot.

The opening odds start here
The writing was on the wall to keep Mo unanimous as you could find this argument and unfortunate likelihood debate of one outstanding vote all over social media. Still a well deserved honor and it's a shame one person had to ruin perfection.

Can one even use WAR for a guy who played so many years in Denver? WRC+ a better offensive metric, as it adjusts for park factor.
