Tonites performance is why they remind me of last years Memphis team

Here is their team stats coming into tonites game and where they
rank Nationally ... tonite obviously no fluke:

Well they shot 33% from the field today, so I'd say it is a fluke tonight. They have a couple of games where they've shot horrifically, and then they have games where they put up 90 points. Them not having a true point is the reason for that, IMO.

Over a 6 game run in March it will catch up to them one nite

I can see Louisville getting knocked off in a regional final

louisville is a very good team. tough to run through the big east. they played a very good team tonight and lost, simple as that. doesn't mean they are worse or won't make a run in march.

they already beat who i think is the best in the big east in pittsburgh, so its not as if they can't hang with the top teams.

ville will be right there in march. i can easily see them making a run for the title

Lets see Memphis went through the NCAA tourney winning by an average of at least 15 points per game before blowing a 9 point lead with 2 minutes left in the championship game.............

I WOULD HARDLY CALL THAT BREAKING DOWN BEFORE CUTTING DOWN THE NETS..........LOL...........

Did you watch Memphis in last years tourney........vs Mich ST, vs Texas...vs UCLA..........

Just a fluke and a terrible decision by CaliparI.......NO FOUL ON 3 WITH SECONDS LEFT COST MEMPHIS A TITLE............

I cant see Louisville beating NC or Connecticut coming late March

Sorry .... they are not a team I want to see on the foul line late in
the game and Digger made that point very clear last nite

My list of potential champs in my pool just erased Louisville based
on what I saw tonite and the obvious weakness they have from deep
and at the foul line

Last 20 NCAA champs going into March Madness:

avg of 57% scoring from front court and 43% from back court

NORTH CAROLINA: 58% and 42% right now

I found that very interesting .....

Hard to believe that Arizona team with Bibby and Simon got 57% (1997?)of their scoring from the frontcourt?????

Jimmy Dykes brought it up near the end of the NC game on Sat

I think he meant the avg of the last 20 NCAA champs were those numbers
as I thought that sounded weird but obviously Dykes knows more than me
when it comes to college bball
