I think 2 of those last 3 are winnable, but assuming they beat Rutgers, who nearly scored the listed total themselves yesterday, it may come down to Northwestern if the Illini find themselves in a 5-6 situation. After a competitive 35 minutes, Wisconsin got picked apart by OSU, ending virtually any chance of a national playoff appearance.

Sounds about right. For last 15 years, NIU has had a better football program than Illinois. Maybe not this year but almost every year last decade and a half.
