Twenty-two years with the company and 12 years at the helm.

Before his ties to MGM, Murren represented Deutsche Bank for 14 years.

Murren is credited with coming up with the idea of CityCenter.

The official news reports are saying 58 year old Jim Murren is resigning and or stepping down. My inside the MGM source told me HE WAS FIRED.and many many MGM employees are extremely pleased.. The last two years his salary was over 27 MILLION DOLLARS.
Quitting a job that's paying over one million dollars a month ?
I don't think so.
I strongly stand by my source.

Of course he got fired. The stock has gone nowhere and the activist board of directors finally got the last holdouts to can him based on the lousy numbers this last quarter, which all happened before coronavirus struck.

I think Railbird will not be truly happy until everyone crashes to his level. Like prisoners, he is trying to find salvation thru organized religion.

Good luck in your journey to salvation.

Some time ago I put him on "Ignore" so for some time I have not seen his posts. Looks like I made the right call there

You (MGM} pay the CEO $32 mil to walk away, then want a bailout? GTFO.
That is just horrible. That 32m could easily cover every employee's paycheck for several months.

That would be an outstanding move that would return heaps of cash when they reopen. The goodwill of hey we take care of our workers. Will bring in even better quality of worker down the road. They could easily bring back 10x that 32m.

Instead they use it on one person who doesnt need it and is the one responsible for fkn a ton of stuff up.

How does this logic pass through the chain of command.
