About the only feat I can compare to what Michael Phelps has done in the Olympics is thinking back to all the times Lance Armstrong won Tour De France. How do they stack up against each other? Who is the better athlete? And who will be more remembered over time?

Armstrong. The guy was near death with his cancer if I recall correctly. To bounce back from that to win another Tour race is simply amazing. I am not taking anything away from Phelps at all just believe being near death and doing what Armstrong did is more memorable.

Phelps, Armstrong is in the same category as Bonds, Clemens, Sosa, McGuire, etc
