Mostly agree but not completely. Interceptions are mostly skill, esp if a result of pass rush pressure or great coverage. The Peanut Tillman move of punching a ball loose is also a skill. But once the ball is on the ground, the recovering part is random. One team had 3 fumbles yesterday and lost all 3.
From the offense's standpoint, ball security isn't random. Cousins very good at throwing but he seems to fumble a lot. With Fields, fumbling is a bigger issue than INTs. And when a QB fumbles, it seems like quite a few get housed. Turnovers certainly not all random, but defensive TDs pretty much are.
