Couldn't handle the pressure in NY, but a great smaller market pitcher. Never really understood that. Pitching is pitching. But it IS a thing.

Ed Whitson also was horrible in NY. The media is totally different than other cities.

I can't understand it because i've never dealt with the pressure of pitching for $, pitching on tv, pitching in front of thousands. let alone all the extra scrutiny in doing it in a big market. I I can see how it would be a thing though. the mental aspect is just as big as the physical. They aren't performing in vaccums and they aren't robots
