There is video of Diana and sue during the ncaa women's tourney of them calling clark their daughter for her ability to shoot long range like Diana and has the passing skills of bird.
But if you saw the post-game interview Diana gave a lot of compliments to Caitlin and spoke highly of her.

First half thoughts Caitlin vs Vegas
Indiana needs to completely overhaul their roster to fit Caitlin's game. Nalyssa "Nappy Ho" Smith (did she get out of jail earlier this morning?) and Boston do nothing for this team if they (for a second) believe their best offensive scheme is to isolate either of them.
Purely from a basketball 'skill' stand point, Caitlyn is so far ahead of her peers and most of her opponents, it isn't funny. Over half of her turnovers are because her teammates are either too dumb or too unathletic.

It is very telling when defenses freak out when Clark is given a sliver of daylight to shoot the ball which results in two players running at her to prevent an open three.
Yet a seasoned vet like Kelsey Mitchell is given wide open look after wide open look as if she is a scrub. She is wide open and the defense doesn't move as if to say "just shoot it".
Temi is going to be a great fit for Caitlin as she has the best hands on the team (the bar is very very low) and is athletic enough to score under the basket.
I'm excited to see Caitlin play with other great players in the wnba all star game. She could have 20 assists and 15 points.

The Las Vegas Aces were blessed with the right players and they utilize them perfectly.
The Aces struggled until Becky Hammon replaced Bill Laimbeer.
Laimbeer was old-school and resisted using the three-point line.

As previously posted, Mitchell is gone after this season. Even Fever coaches can see Caitlin will never reach her full potential with her on the team.
Lastly, they need a coach that will play more uptempo, it will free her up for more shots before the defense can get back and/or create more open passing lanes for her in the open court.
Would D'Antonio or Nash want to coach in the 'W'?

Actually the fever run alot. Caitlin always pushes hard off of rebounds.
What slows things down is sides trying to call set plays that involve Boston getting the ball with her back to the basket.

When Caitlin gets stronger, the league is in trouble.
Aside from time in the weight room, she also needs to work on her driving/dribbling to her left.
She's so right-handed.
Like Steph Curry, Caitlin has little or no interest in the defensive end of the floor.

I don't know if you noticed, they take her out late game, slim margin and insert a better defensive player.

I have only seen 3 or 4 of her games, in those she seemed to turn it over a lot.
Too lazy to look for "play below-the-rim" stats but she needs to learn to protect the ball more if she's done that all year.
The vision and other things can't be taught and they are elite, time now to work on defense if you want to be one of the greats.

Happy, tired about Reese's double double talk...
Clark can mess around a get a double double every game if she wants.
Angel Reese reminds me of a young Dennis Rodman.
If I were Caitlin's brand manager, I would suggest her to lighten up a bit.

Reese does have a relatively high 41% offensive (97 out of 237) of all rebounds. I haven't gone thru the play by play to see how many were off her own shots.

19/86 of her offensive rebounds are from her own misses, which is 22%. Check ESPN stats if you’d like to verify—that’s what I did.

she shoots well over 60% of her shots from inside of 5 feet from the rim and she is shooting 41% from the field.
She does have a dennis rodman like energy on the bounds. Very hard worker in that area.
The pregame commentator that is voting reece ROY based on Chicago having a higher standing.....well the Fever are the 7th seed now and Chicago the 8th.

I can't remember who the player was or any details, but years ago an NBA player intentionally missed a shot in order to grab his own miss and get the rebound that gave him a triple double, I'll try looking it up
