They punish players for betting some parlays. Admin guys or coaches that supply info that reaches
the screen is hardly looked at. They bet.

Are the fucking idiot Lions going to draft a quarterback in the early rounds? It doesn't matter who it is or if he becomes a successful starter. Once they draft a quarterback, they officially take a poop on the Goof-Stafford trade. The premise was that Goof would stabilize the QB position while they went to town with the other draft picks. Then he is either the guy or they find the final piece. If they draft a quarterback, that means they wasted a position and a crucial position in the trade. They should have gotten somebody else at a different position.

I could give a shit but I think the Lions draft a quarterback and he turns out to be another Duck Long bust.

That trade was won in a hundred for the Lambs. Teams are going to try to duplicate and they will get burned. They needed to win the whole thing and they did. Of course it happened when the trading team was the Lions. You do that trade, you want to be on the Lions side and history shows that. Except this time.

The NFL should have a JV season in the spring. Starts after the draft and ends before training camp. All of the players eligible for varsity. 8 game regular season and 4 game playoffs. Call the championship the Summer Show. Obviously it will be Bowl. Should be Show. This would wipe out the MLB and remove any needs for shit leagues like the new USFL and Arena. Who knows. The Lions may finally lift the trophy.

I enjoyed the pace of day 1. A lot of teams knew what they wanted to do and luckily it resulted in not having to listen to Mel as much.

No huge eyebrows to be raised IMO other maybe than the Pats. Loved the Vikings pick to close the round and getting the 2nd pick of round 2 are setup to land other big defensive prospects in either Dean (LB) or one of Gordon or Booth (DBs). That's my hope anyway...

And a horribly inaccurate quarterback to throw them the ball.

Not to mention that his life expectancy isn't great considering all of the running around that his does on the field.

Imagine what Aaron Rodgers would have looked like in a different shade of green.

They also signed world class hurdler Devon Allen who played wideout at Oregon.
