First, a post mortem on the Thursday night game. If you didn't see it, don't look at the score. The final score and box score make it look like Pittsburgh was compeititve. This box explains the game better. The Steelers have to be one of the worst .500 teams in memory.

Can one have a better setup than Cleveland? Two weeks ago, Cleveland played the Ravens. It was a 3 pt game until Balt kicked a FG in final minute to secure the cover. So last week, while the Browns are on a bye, the Ravens are playing their biggest rival Pittsburgh, in a 1 pt game with them losing at the end on a failed 2 pointer. Two full weeks to study film on Baltimore…..Lamar threw 4 picks the last time. It’s apparent he struggles big against blitzes.

I agree with the setup being so good, but it is just so hard to beat the Ravens getting points. Absolutely horrible team to lay over -3 on, but their systems get it done as dogs. Plus few trends out there consistently as good as taking divisional road underdogs.

Some legit wind in KC around 15-16 mph. Surprised longest FG under 47 1/2 yds still only -115 at certain places.

Bookmaker is showing Joe Mixon's rush prop at 75 1/2 yards (-115). Mixon has been sick all week. And when he's healthy, he's had a few great games and a number of poor games. He's expected to try to play, but he's being priced as if he's 100 pct. I suspect his workload is cut, at least a bit. Under is the only way to go.

Love the Jets + the number. The Saints have looked like a flat tire for more than a month, and they're historically a horrible cold weather team. Jets should have enough pride to play a close game here.

Cleveland -2 1/2 has to be the worst beat of the week. The Browns are covering all game long, they have a 40 yard FG attempt hit the upright, and Balt misses a 2 pt conversion to account for the odd differential. Baltimore converts on a 4th and 10 late in game, then scores with a little over a minute left to secure the cover.

As a few have pointed out around here 1 and 2 pt wins are becoming much more common, the lay the 2.5 or 3 has greater risk than it used

And the Dallas 27-20 was very deceptive, The score was 27-8 with a little over 5 minutes to play. The Redskins scored a TD w 5:09 to play then Prescott threw a pick 6 with about 4 minutes to play (up 13). Dallas was in the red zone 6 times, getting only 1 TD.
