NFL Week 16

Minnesota/New Orleans Under 52. I suspect it will go off at under 51. From what we saw out of Brees today, I want no part of a Saints over.
Dallas +1 Philly in their 3rd road game in 4 weeks.

Gimme

Rams +125ish on the ML

Rams shit the bed Sunday. But a win here they jump Seattle for the #1 spot in the NFC. Gimme a team that can play defense and will be looking to erase the embarrassment of losing at home as a 9-billion point fave to the J-E-S-T JEST JEST JEST!

Titans +4

Packers need 1 more win to clinch #1 in the NFC so a win here does it. But I'll gladly take more than a FG from a team that has Derrick Henry on it.

Bills -6.5 (Get it before it goes to -7....and it will)

Pats season is over. Can't see them caring here and Bills still trying to catch the Stillers for #2 AFC seed. Think we get a team that has quit against a team looking to pour more salt in the wounds of the long-time bully

After opening the season 7-2 against the spread, the Chiefs are 0-5-1 to the number.

Grade yesterday's game against the Saints as a push.

Interestingly, the Chiefs have won nine straight games, including six in a row without covering a single point spread.

Victories by 2, 3, 3, 4, 6 and 6 while laying spots of 3, 3.5, 7, 8, 10 and 13.

Looking at Rams-Seattle under 46.5. R Wilson has fallen in love with the deep pass at the expense of his other weapons. That probably won't work vs the Rams pass D. The Rams havs fallen in love with the run, Seattle's run D has been very good all year. Wilson's numbers have really fallen off for a month now, outside of the Jets game. A big division game with playoff implications lead to looking at the under.

Good chance Chiefs lost Helaire for the year on Sunday. They are lucky to have L Bell.

High ankle sprain.

Will obviously miss the final two regular-season games.

Availability for postseason is a question mark.

Only the #1 seed in each conference will receive a bye this NFL postseason.

Playoff scenario models have the Chiefs with a 70% chance of gaining the AFC's #1 seed.

Not anymore.

Pittsburgh has lost three straight games after opening the season 11-0.

Indy at home in Week 16 and then the Steelers travel to Cleveland to close out the season.

IF Indy wins this game and the Browns win you can put it in stone the final SNF game will be Pitt @ Cleve for the AFCN crown

on the ESPN crawl:

Haskins in a strip club hours after last game with no mask on

If this happened under Pac12 rules he'd be quarantined for a year and ineligible to play next season. If they used Big10 rules they would quarantine him a few days unless they could prove he was in contact with someone who tested positive. If the used SEC rules they would say, yeah what's the problem here and tell him to go practices tomorrow.

I'll be on Cleveland this week as they return to the Meadowlands after crushing the Giants last week. I'll take Phil as Jalen Hurts returns to At and T where he won the big 12 last year with the sooners. Jalen also returns to Texas where he starred in high school. Would like the rams off losing to the jets but only getting one, may see if it goes back up to 2' on game day, to buy to 3. Good spot for Buffalo to destroy Pats but again not very good line equity. Buffalo was a 4 pt fav at home week 3. Today that line would be about 13.

No one will want to bet them now, good time to buy low on the Steelers against a Colts team that I don't think is as good as their record

I normally would want nothing to do with a 9.5 point road favorite, but I can't resist taking the Browns. The Jets got their win, I expect a huge hangover in this one and next week. I think literally that's all they cared about, one win and not being the 0-16 team. Now they can go back to being the team that wants to get their coach fired.

Probably true, but I'm waiting for a bounceback effort for the Steelers before I'm ready to back them again. I do think they will show up again for the playoffs, their defense is way too good to be an easy out in playoff football. I will take the under in this one.

There is no SNF week 17.

Once again - WRONG!

There will be one. That game has not yet been determined. It will be determined AFTER Week 16 is played. JUST LIKE IT IS EVERY SINGLE YEAR!

IF WFT loses, NYG loses and Iggles win..........you can chisel in: WFT @ Iggles for the Week 17 game since that will be a pure "winner-take-all" game - something NBC wants

Brees' stat line last week very deceptive. His end of game numbers: 234 yards and 3 TDs. But anyone who watched saw how awful he looked, His first half numbers tell a more accurate story: 16 attempts, 5 completes 87 yards 0 TD and 1 int. Have to think under on completions and yardage for him.

it's called shaking off the rust

And you think it’s all off? If their D can keep Minnesota in check, and I believe they will, I expect more from Kamara in the running game, and all of Brees’ numbers will have a fairly low ceiling.

When I typed Kamara, the iPhone initially autocorrected to Kamala. A bit biased?

Weather does not appear to be much of a factor this week. Green Bay is likely to have some weather issues; good chance of snow, 28 degrees and wind about 9. Tennessee has played one game all season below 50 degrees: 48 degrees when they played in Cincinnati on November 1.

Josh Jacobs 65.5 rush yards

For team sack props, Pittsburgh and Indy are 1-2 in fewest sacks allowed. Cincinnati and Houston are the 2nd and 3rd worst offensive lines for allowing sacks. Watson is always a threat to draw numerous sacks, but Cincy threw so few times last Monday night, have to wonder how many opportunites Watt and company will get.

My Brady o/u was exactly where Bookmaker put it. It's hard to not imagine a lot of points in this early game. Tampa is great against the run but not good against the pass, and Detroit doesn't figure to run much anyways. Marvin Jones at 64.5 and Hockenson at 46.5 over look logical. Stafford listed as questionable but he's been listed as questionable every week for at least the past month. Hockenson's yardage number a full 10 yards below last week's number. Tampa figures to get a ton of pass yardage, but how will it be split up? Antonio Brown figures to take away some targets from both Evans and Godwin. Lots of mouths to feed there, but which ones get fed? Maybe all of them, considering how bad Detroit's pass D (107 QB rating against on the season) is.

Somebody must of been out that hurt this team for 3 weeks. ...not to beat cincy is crazy... I liked cincy but the steelers have to be missing parts. Are they back for the colts? I put this line at colts -1.25 ...pass for me

Conner was out, but he basically had been MIA much of the season, production, wise.

It's going to be tough for them. They get Kittle back but just numerous players back to sidelines; Deebo Samuel, Mostert, Sharman and Jimmy Ward, among others. This team has been crushed by injuries:

I don't know, I don't follow that stuff, I know if they win out they have to be in, so they control their own destiny, would be a really cool story to see them get in, the odds of them making the playoffs had to be high before the season started
