Seems that any 4 of the remaining teams can win the Stanley Cup? Who do you like to win the cup final series and in how many games? Tie Breaker is total goals by both teams in final game of the Cup Final.

Need an answer by 10 pm Eastern Time or 7pm Pacfic Time today.

ill side with the Islanders for the simple reason I haven't seen one poster on any forum say they had a future on the Islanders. Islanders in 7 against whomever.tb= 7

Since Puckhandler and X-FIles are the only 2 that posted, whoever wins game 7 tonight will go one on one with the Habs in the final, if your team wins the Stanley Cup there will be a prize for you at the end as you celebrate!!

TB - MTL games have gone UNDER in 1st of matchups during season.
Then the OVER falls in the rematch.

TB & UNDER game 1
OVER game 2 - Maybe Jake Allen comes in after Price pulls a muscle (gulp).

Jake has my vote as Montreal's MVP for this past 2020/21 season ( playoff's excluded ).
Without his stellar play in the backup role, the Habs would never have been in the playoffs.

Allen did play well for them and got them points when they were fighting off teams for the last playoff spot in the Northern Division. I guess TBAY PP versus Habs strong Penalty Killing might be the key

I know I'm late to the posting as I saw this after the deadline but for what it's worth I think Tampa ends this quickly. Isles are just a real tough playoff team, the proverbial team that's hard to play against thanks to Trotz and a nice complement of proven stars who could get key goals. Let's face it Canadiens aren't easy to play against but they have really no star players now offensively, just a couple guys well past their prime. Maybe if Drouin was around it could be closer. But Tampa is just too talented lines 1-4 and their D doesn't play an easy system to defend like the Knights do.

I'll say Lightning win Game 1, Canadiens pull out game 2 and then just as everyone says the Habs are going to do it again Tampa rips off 3 wins and keeps the Cup.

Thanks for the prediction WB, i guess it wishful thinking on my part since I have a decent futures on Montreal and have hedged on TBAY. Florida gave TBay trouble in some respects but didnt have the Defense or Goaltending to compete. I still think it goes far with either team winning in 7.

Yeah I find it interesting how much different this line is compared to the last series. Did we really learn a lot to where Tampa is under -300 and Knights were crazy over -500 in some spots? I don't think it's a stretch to say Tampa is a better team than Vegas, plus all the experience they bring makes me question was line just wacky last round or are Lightning a little bit of value here? I know bettors overreact and might have been some line shading due to potential VGK liability, but if this was the line last round I wouldn't have taken a position on Montreal to win it. This feels reasonable, getting over 4-1 did not.

Line was definitely too high last round so maybe too low now??? There's so much overreaction from game to game in the playoffs its ridiculous and There's no doubt to me this is Montreal's best top 4 Defense in 25+ years so I'm curious to see how that and hopefully good goaltending from Carey Price will translate into being real competitive or not really against TBAY.

Didn't like Mtl's chances this series. My heart wanted them to win a game and make it close. Even if they win tonight, it's way too late.
I'll see them on the golf course very soon.

Montreal quite capable of winning 3 more games in a row. They reeled off a streak way longer than that already this year in the playoffs.

This series could easily be tied at 2 now.

They could, but I doubt it. Lightning's top players were off last night but still looked dangerous. Tampa's bottom six made some beautiful plays out of not a whole lot, that plus a return to form by the top guys makes it very daunting to win 1 more game, let alone 3 more.

I also doubt it, as i picked TB in 5 in this thread. Though when i think of "very daunting" the -8500 ML picks come to mind, not - a 210 ML.

Montreal was fortunate I can count 3 posts by TBay last night. Cooper even said I was happy with the chances we generated
