Schilling is a prick. No way to dispute that. His politics are keeping him out. No way to dispute that, Their fear is his acceptance speech and what he will say. And for good reason.
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT...............he is a HOFer. He can ask to be taken off the ballot but that won't happen and odds are he gets in next season. Bonds/Clemens - no chance. EVER! Veterans Committee ain't putting them in. Same with A-Roid

I despise his viewpoints, but Schilling is a Hall of Famer. There are about 20 qualified players who should be in the Hall and about 50 who should be booted out of the Hall.

I’m not sure this was common knowledge at the time. We could take reinvent the rules all of the time and kick out everyone I guess.
