Offshore under attack

AGA (american gaming association) wants the DOJ to go after illegal offshore sportsbooks. AGA named Bovada, Betonline, and My bookie that the DOJ should go after. Maybe someone here could put up a link to the story.

Some gross straddles at these licensed U.S.-based sports books.

Of course, someone has to pay for the countless television ads featuring high-profile spokespersons.

In a women's basketball game in Australia, Rivers Sports Book was dealing the favorite to win the game at -177 with the takeback on the underdog priced at +125.

It's not a market, it's a racket.

yep. I moved all the legal 10-15 cent books for MLB to the left. The rest of legal will not get any action . Horrible lines at some of the legal shops

JK, i find it interesting that you a WNBA enthusiast is checking out lines on women's basketball in Australia. Looking for angles all over the world. i admire that determination.

Offering such a rigged price (-177/+125), you would think the limits at Rivers Sportsbook would be sky-high.

Instead, you could only bet $300 on the game.

Haha.

Dealing those lines is borderline criminal, AGA should encourage fairness, consumer protestion and max odds variance in regulated markets.

only bet365 in NJ have the pitcher's name. Even if they do not have listed show the pitcher. No rotation numbers terrible idea.

Yep. But the AGA doesn't give a shit about consumer fairness, about banning winners, or voiding valid wagers. They are simply a shill for the large domestic gambling corporations.

And COVID-19 has been the excuse for not publishing any betting sheets at the brick-and-mortar spots.

Instead, sports book employees tell you to scan a QR code for the latest odds.

Poor customer service.

On a brighter note, I received a beautiful booklet of house rules at the FanDuel location near St. Louis.

But at a nearby DraftKings outlet, they told me to go home and copy the rules from their website.

YEP. The legal sports books want to keep the young new bettor in the dark as much as possible. Crank up the vig fella's

That's not correct. Off top of my head fanduel and DK both have pitchers name on main page where games are listed. Mgm you click on game gives you listed pitchers.

Customer Service can make or break an offshore office…CRIS wasn’t the best back in the day but at least they listened to complaints whenever they arose and assigned someone to listen to them…even if shot takers like Railbird had a problem….
