Remember after that first vaccine distribution, the media said states were being shorted on the next release, that the next shipment was being cut by 1/3 or 1/2? The media played that up, if these numbers are correct 10 days later they haven';t even used up their initial shipments, much less the next ones in addition to the moderna one that came later.
That's why it's called fake news. The rate is ramping up bigtime anyway as many states slowed down due to christmas, up here this week is when they are actually starting on the nursing home people.

Not really, we're in the middle as states go(about 5.6 million), the point is we've received almost 200,000 doses and have only used roughly 40K. per capita the dakotas are about 3 times what we are.

What are you talking about, every state has a massive supply of vaccine in their hands right now - that they seemingly are in no rush to actually inject.
Distribution is irrelevant right now, if the states get off their ass it MIGHT become a factor, but it's not right now.
Today's report has SD having given 18000 doses, pushing 2.5% of their population, which just adds to their already robust herd immunity level of perhaps 45-55%.
You once fail to grasp the reality of the situation in that trumps White House has failed to give the necessary funding for distribution

The states have it, it has been distributed, I think the states can ship it to hospitals, clinics and pharmacies on their own. that's what the moderna was going to be used for since it needs only normal refrigeration.

They're drowning in them now, todays report had something like 13 million shipped out but 2.5 million given., now no one expects to use them up in a couple days but this is ridiculous.
They need to get it out of the hands of govt, send them to clinics and pharmacies and they can put out the call - if you're over 70 come get your vaccine, later on lower it to 60 and so on.
