There are these posts by so many people how they're on hard times, depressed and on or near financial ruin. This response is legendary from somebody in Michigan.... LOL :ROFLMAO::LOL:

You're doing it wrong. Physical phone is free from the government, search for the Lifeline program or just use a VOIP app like 2nd line or Text now. Food is free from the government, apply for bridge card. Medical care is free from government, apply for medicaid. Internet is free like anywhere that there is wireless starbucks etc., College is basically free, just apply for financial aid to take out max student loans that your grants and scholarships don't cover. The extra money is enough to cover rent easily. Then once you graduate you just put your loans into one of the numerous hardship programs and government pays all the interest and you don't have to make payments. Credit cards you can have multiple then run them up and default on all at the same time, if you don't pay for 6 or 7 years the debt will be legally discharged and you will get a 1099c form to pay taxes on it, but you won't have to pay them back. Your doing your finanaces wrong.

You wouldn’t believe how many professionals that are takinrg deferments or just paying the minimum on their student loans. They are banking on the government to wipe out their loans.

I'm surprised taking out a $2800 loan at 23% to bet on a soccer match wasn't part of the financial advice.

You're talking to somebody who bet $5000 on Nick Kyrgios to win only $500 and lost. I've done much worse and I already paid down 40% of it. I really dont have money either to blow. I just somehow eventually win to cover my losses or work 50 hours doing whatever then quit.

Also, I always pay back people. Completely opposite of what this kid was suggesting. Alcohol, emotions and the need to bet will always hamper my ability to really take the next step. Like others have said, I cant stop betting. I have no problem passing up card tables and video poker but I need action on sports.
