Problems in Beantown

So as we approach the ASB and one game below .500, the pressure has to suddenly be following Brad Stevens. You look at the rumblings around the organization including lack of effort with a seemingly solid personnel nucleus, Danny Ainge making his case for a lack of effort and low motivation, and injuries (Smart) and inefficiency, mainly pertaining to inconsistency from Kemba Walker. Well I got one for you too that most are probably not noticing. What the heck has happened to Daniel Theis? 15 minutes in Atlanta and not a single speck on the box score? This guy who looks do badass on the court looks complacent, out of focus, and meek most of the time he's on the court. You've got a Tacko Fall on the bench lucky if he's even playing garbage minutes. How about giving him a bit more of a look? At this point he couldn't do any worse, and with his size he deserves a shot. The C's better figure it out quickly because a lot of faithful by now thought at the very least could compete when instead this unit looks totally lost during this recent stretch.

Boston can't shoot for shit. Awful mother fuckers. Tatum went 4 for 20 last game. Cardiac Kemba can't hit shit.

If they don't start winning now and I mean right NOW, they are toast. Season is done.

Should we take a shot on them tonight?

They never were a serious contender anyways so a bad season isn't the end of the world. Stevens is clearly a good coach, if the players aren't trying hard that's on them. They need to find the right role players and overcome the disaster that was the Horford contract. The young guys are real good, Kemba not so much. Need to find the right depth players and then figure out if they can get one more star to join them and they'll be ready to make a real run.

They're 5-9 Since The Smart Injury.

He Kind of Plays a Like Middle Linebacker When He's on The Court.

When He Comes Back, Watch To See if Things Change.

If They Don't, Major Changes?

Did you expect them to be a game under .500 to this point? They were clearly preseason contenders to start the season and showed promise being 11-6, then with Smart going down, Walker underachieving and slowed by injuries, Theis not even showing up in certain games and Tatum showing subpar outings as of late, the tension is clearly weighing on Stevens' shoulders and Singes recent comments point to it. Couple in only 72 games and it will be interesting to see whether the inconsistency turns after the ASB.
