Rivers lack of mobility is not the now NFL.
Rivers always seemed to be leading the Chargers from behind.
Some comebacks worked, most did not.
My everlasting memory of Rivers is an immobile quarterback thowing off his back foot, sometimes side-armed, while under serious pressure in the pocket with his team trailing by four points or more late in the fourth quarter.

Colts head coach Frank Reich and Philip Rivers worked together for three seasons in San Diego.
Rivers turns 39 in December.
Brady turns 43 in August and Brees turned 41 last January.

From what I hear the Colts have one of the best offensive lines in the league, so that helps, and of course this isn't Rivers in his prime, but he's still an upgrade over what they had

Rivers reminds me a lot of Matt Ryan. If I were the colts, I would have went harder after Bridgewater.

I'm trying to reconcile Bridgewater to Carolina. Isn't he a poor man's Cam? And Cam has a better arm.

Stronger arm but not near as accurate. Cam is not aging well and will get worse. I wouldn’t want cam at any price.
