Rondo 8 shots and counting...

Not a good game for the Lakers but man its painful to watch the likes of Rondo, KCP, Green, Caruso, Kuzma. AD and LBJ gonna have to be a hell of a lot better and just force things it looks like.

Brick didn't score in the 4th quarter.

I didn't watch the game but probably could have guessed that, LOL. Game must have been fairly close at the time.

How AD is going to get these guys into the Finals IDK.

Brick leading last year and no playoffs, this year follow AD all the way to the title?

I doubt it.

They win this series but Clippers much better team.

4 point game entering the 4th.

Caruso did hit some shots...and I get this is both your schtick to come on here post-Lakers/LBJ dud. I'm not even a Lakers/LBJ fan to be honest.

But you have to objectively be able to look at this Lakers roster, compared to every other playoff roster and agree that beyond LBJ/AD, absolutely the worst among all playoff teams. Granted AD/LBJ the best 1-2 combo in the league, but without a 3rd, even decent option, they both have to almost play 48 minutes.

That's unreal!? Houston can't spell defense and has no bigs yet Brick doesn't even hit the board in the 4th? Wow.

His legacy as a top 50 is in jeopardy if he keeps playing like this.

Today someone called him Pippin and I know Scottie couldn't have liked that.

The opening odds start here
Certainly a disappearing act for the supporting cast, except in my opinion for Caruso who at least showed up and made some shots. However my favorite of the day was Giannis and company getting outscored 40-13 in the 4th as the Heat on Sunday are set to go for the sweep.

No I'm not trying to bust on you Choslamshe, I've been on Brick's ass for a long time now.....

Not trolling, right or wrong I believe every word of what I say about him.

Watched him against Nowitski, seems like nothing's changed.

You have to admit in a 4 point game the self-glossed "GOAT" (LOL) can't even score a point against the mighty Rockets defense?

And in the playoffs!?

Turns it over too much and not enough heart, that's what I see.

Magic probably switches to the 5 spot and puts up 20 in the 4Q to beat Houston easily......

It was a 4 point game entering the 4th quarter. Caruso played well, Rondo was OK. No one else on the Lakers had a good game but how do you explain the 4th quarter? Why does Brick refuse to drive? The only way that Houston wins is if Brick refuses to go down low. He shouldn't be the guy handling the ball. Post up all day long.

Rondo

3 rebounds
4 assists
2 steals
8 points

in 25 minutes.

stats mean nothing to me in today's NBA. Players average more "digits" across all categories per minute today than any time in the NBAs history. Point of my thread, and to your point of LBJ shrinking, is why the hell is a dude who A) struggles to put the ball in the basket at this stage of his career, and B) hasn't touched the court in months, taking 8 shots away from players that are choosing to be passive?

Rondo should never shoot the ball 8 times in a game. Ever

and Brick shouldn't play point. If they both play where they should be playing, Lakers roll. It seemed to me that Brick tried to play defense in the first few quarters and tired out. Harden was too quick but Brick tried early. Normally he waits until the last 2 minutes to play defense.

Just a horrible game. And he wants to play point but did you see shots?

Unless I looked at it wrong Davis put up 16 shots, Brick 15 and DANNY GREEN 12 shots? Rondo had 8? LOL.

In fact a lot of guys were putting it up there instead of who should have been shooting.

Play point you need to run the floor, run the offense where he needs to be ran. Just incredible how bad he can play and the choices he makes.

For sure going to be the all-time turnover king in the NBA....... and again -15 when on the court.

It's like Lakers would get close until they put him back in?

And finally disappears TOTALLY in the 4thQ with the game to be had. This guy is a top 50 player at best.

Shots like that in a playoff game with Bird? Magic? MJ?

No, no and no.

Rondo and Danny Green with that many shots? A few others close too.

Brick is just kind out on the court at times..... watching the others play and arguing with the refs.

If you want the offense to run through you (more stats) then make smart decisions. Control the offense!

If he posted up with his back to the basket he could almost score at will......

Game always came easy, he's never had to work as hard as everyone else. It shows.

Good night.

People underestimate Tucker's effectiveness on AD...that wide body laying on you all game wears on you. Davis as usual had nothing late.

LeBron said after the game that Houston's quick hands were a problem.

L.A. with 17 turnovers which led to 27 points for the Rockets.

Must admit, Rondo was blowing by people, looked as quick as ever, unfortunately be quick but don't hurry applies to him.

Yeah well when you're a lumbering, balding, 38 year old doofus trying to play point the guys selling peanuts seem to have quick hands.
