Great advice. More often than not, I find myself betting against a team, rather than on a team.

I think they root NOT to go in. Then they get exposed as incompetant. No better gig than to carry a clipboard, wear a baseball cap and get paid a million bucks. Rick Mirer banked a lot of money doing that. Charlie Batch as well.
