Does Westbrook really add anything to HOU?....I hate Webber as color guy but he's right, ball in Harden's hands with seconds left not RSW. 7 turnovers....

Maddening to watch the Rockets play.

Never liked D'Antoni as a head coach.

If you value possession of the basketball, credit teams that share the rock and appreciate high-percentage shots, the Houston Rockets are NOT your kind of team.

The opening odds start here
Right now my second option would be Eric Gordon over Russell Westbrook. He may have had a subpar night last night but can hit the perimeter shot and give you good minutes overall off the boards.

Their opponents arent that much on sharing either, 17 assists on 38 made baskets. I would have thought on a Chris Paul team passing leading to offense would be a given but it's not in the modern NBA.

It s ironic that his last name starts with a capitol D.......his teams have never played defense...

The D'Antoni team that had the best chance at a title was a Phoenix Suns team that was badly victimized by Donaghy in the semifinals against the San Antonio Spurs who were the eventual champion that year.

Robert Piece of Shit Horry was the main reason the Suns went down that year. Donaghy didn't help either.

Are we going to see all of LAs mediocre at best role players find their offensive groove because of the perceived notion that Houston blows on defence?

Or will it matter? Will see see AD and LBJ average close to TDs the entire way and basically name their offensive output?

I go back and forth thinking that guys like KCP, Green, Caruso, Kuzma can step up but I guess that's what happens series to series.

I want to think that this could be a great series but then I remember the title of this thread (and agree) and the fact that Harden hasn't looked great these playoffs either

Houston's real problem is AD is going to destroy them and LBJ is going to get a lot of layups and dunks because of their structure. I mean seriously how is Robert Covington going to even slightly slow down AD? And if AD pulls him out of the lane its going to a be an open highway to the basket for the Lakers.

Going into a series you never know LeBron's mindset, sometimes he's aggressive on offense and looks to score, other times he looks to be more of a facilitator, AD should put up monster numbers in this series, I'm talking 35 and 15 every game, Houston has no one who can guard him. The Rockets only hope is to hit a high percentage of their three's, but to do it throughout a seven game series will be tough

Houston outscored L.A., 42-40, in the category of points in the paint.

More importantly, the Rockets scored 27 points off 17 L.A. turnovers.

Before the playoffs my finals matchup was Celtics/Clippers, and other than the magical run the Heat is on, I've seen nothing to make me change my mind
