Sarah Palin: It's War, not a Crime Spree (Sarah kicks the Kenyan's sore booty once again!!)

Sarah Palin: It?s War, not a Crime Spree

A strong statement from the People's Governor:
President Obama?s meeting with his top national security advisers does nothing to change the fact that his fundamental approach to terrorism is fatally flawed. We are at war with radical Islamic extremists and treating this threat as a law enforcement issue is dangerous for our nation?s security. That?s what happened in the 1990s and we saw the result on September 11, 2001. This is a war on terror not an ?overseas contingency operation.? Acts of terrorism are just that, not ?man caused disasters.? The system did not work.

Abdulmutallab was a child of privilege radicalized and trained by organized jihadists, not an ?isolated extremist? who traveled to a land of ?crushing poverty.? He is an enemy of the United States, not just another criminal defendant.

It simply makes no sense to treat an al Qaeda-trained operative willing to die in the course of massacring hundreds of people as a common criminal. Reports indicate that Abdulmutallab stated there were many more like him in Yemen but that he stopped talking once he was read his Miranda rights. President Obama?s advisers lamely claim Abdulmutallab might be willing to agree to a plea bargain ? pretty doubtful you can cut a deal with a suicide bomber. John Brennan, the President?s top counterterrorism adviser, bizarrely claimed ?there are no downsides or upsides? to treating terrorists as enemy combatants. That is absurd. There is a very serious downside to treating them as criminals: terrorists invoke their ?right? to remain silent and stop talking. Terrorists don?t tell us where they were trained, what they were trained in, who they were trained by, and who they were trained with. Giving foreign-born, foreign-trained terrorists the right to remain silent does nothing to keep Americans safe from terrorist threats. It only gives our enemies access to courtrooms where they can publicly grandstand, and to defense attorneys who can manipulate the legal process to gain access to classified information.

President Obama was right to change his policy and decide to send no more detainees to Yemen where they can be free to rejoin their war on America. Now he must back off his reckless plan to close Guantanamo, begin treating terrorists as wartime enemies not suspects alleged to have committed crimes, and recognize that the real nature of the terrorist threat requires a commander-in-chief, not a constitutional law professor.

Re: Sarah Palin: It's War, not a Crime Spree (Sarah kicks the Kenyan's sore booty once again!!)

...recognize that the real nature of the terrorist threat requires a commander-in-chief, not a constitutional law professor.

America's Moose Huntin' Mama sounding like a true pro-American Commander in Chief spanks the Kenyan senseless -- again.

Sarah once again shows her leadership qualities. Obozo shows he is a weak, intellectually vacuous girly man.

No wonder the loony left hates/fears her.

How can you not love this woman?

In the days leading up to an interview with ABC News? Charlie Gibson, aides were worried with Ms. Palin?s grasp of facts. She couldn?t explain why North and South Korea were separate nations and she did not know what the Federal Reserve did. She also said she believed Saddam Hussein attacked the United States on Sept. 11, 2001.
People ask - and some junior apparatchiks like Continetti even write books trying to understand - why liberals, independents and non-fundie conservatives "hate" Palin. The answer is: we don't hate Palin. I sure don't. I'm just mesmerized by her as the biggest freak show to be given this powerful a role in America since Michael Jackson. As the record shows, I was not predisposed against her. In fact, the idea of Palin - the feisty right-feminist who took on special interests and reformed government, while skinning caribou with her bare teeth - was as appealing to me as it obviously was to McCain. And I'm not even starbursted by her boobies.

But it became almost immediately clear that she knew nothing about anything, had a private life that you usually see hashed out on Judge Judy, covered up her total lack of governing competence with so many lies they were hard to keep track of, and had next-to-no knowledge of any domestic or foreign policy issues, including energy. Isn't that enough to regard her nomination is a total farce, the biggest insult ever delivered to voters since ... well, Dan Quayle, who was far more informed, smart and serious than Palin ever was.
The idea that this person was qualified to run a country in one of its most serious crises, economically and militarily, beggars belief. The recklessness it revealed in McCain showed that he too was simply unqualified for high office, gambling with the core security of the US for cheap tactical advantage.

Re: Sarah Palin: It's War, not a Crime Spree (Sarah kicks the Kenyan's sore booty once again!!)

Sarah Palin is going to redefine politics in America, in fact she already has.

Meet Patricia Sullivan -- another nightmare for the loony left.

Patricia is a stay-at-home, homeschooling, mother of 4, who recently announced her bid for Congress as a Republican against incumbent Rep. Grayson in Florida's 8th district. Sullivan has an AA degree from community college, leads a Bible study, and has no political resume whatsoever. She is not an activist, she is not a politician. She is simply a patriot. What are her "qualifications" you may ask?

Here's an excerpt from her website's bio:

"She is a home school mom who wants to see the country return to the vision of the Founders as captured in the Constitution...

As someone who knows how to balance a checkbook and live within a budget, Patricia is committed to stop deficit spending, federal buyouts, and the many other problems big government creates."

Beeeeeeautiful. 91023i2ndw;l

The last part sums up the essence of the Tea Party movement: populism.

The "I don't need a degree from Yale, cater to your corrupt establishments, or indulge in cocktail parties with all the right people -- to run this country better than you ever will" attitude. The "I raise kids and run a household. I can run a state" mentality.

Sarah Palin rebuffs CPAC, Keene
<!--/.story-supplement-->Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Pain is turning down an invitation to speak at one high-profile conservative gathering while accepting another.

Palin is declining an invitation to address the Conservative Political Action Conference next month because, a source said, she does not want to be affiliated with the longtime organizer of the traditional movement confab.

At issue is the role of David Keene, head of the American Conservative Union which organizes CPAC. In September, POLITICO reported that Keene asked FedEx for between $2 million and $3 million to get the group's support in a bitter legislative battle with rival UPS.

A source close to the Palin camp says that request led to a decision to stay away from the upcoming CPAC conference, calling it a forum that will place "special interests over core beliefs" and "pocketbook over policy."

"That's not what CPAC should be about and people are tiring," the source said. "Palin is taking a stance against this just as she did in Alaska."

When asked about the move, Palin spokeswoman Meg Stapleton said: "We support those who advance our core beliefs and lead by principle."

Keene did not directly address the charges against him from Palin's camp in a statement to POLITICO.

"Our relationship with the Palin staff has always been very cordial and respectful," Keene said. "Governor Palin has our admiration and we are disappointed that she will not be able to attend CPAC this year, but hope she will attend in the future."

It's not the first time Palin has had a run-in with the conference. Last year, her camp and CPAC feuded after the group announced that she would be speaking at their annual conference in Washington.

Palin later announced that she would not be in attendance, saying that her staff never confirmed the appearance.

Palin was invited again this year, and as of Thursday afternoon was still listed on CPAC?s website as an invited, but "not confirmed" guest. Later in the day, however, her name was taken down.

Keene has criticized Palin in the conservative press, telling Newsmax in July that she was "whining" about her press coverage and was not yet ready for primetime.

"Conservatives like her, but you've got to have more than that," Keene told the outlet. "You've got to be more than a rock star. If in fact she's interested in the presidency, she has got to establish herself as someone you can envision in the Oval Office. And it's become more difficult to envision than it was at the time of the election."

While Palin was turning down CPAC, she accepted an invitation to the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans this April.

"I'm looking forward to addressing conservative activists from across the south at the 2010 Southern Republican Leadership Conference," Palin said in a statement announcing her attendance. "This is a great opportunity to listen and speak to those who are helping to set the direction of our party."

While Palin has received hefty payments for other speeches, her appearance at the SRLC will not be paid.

Is Palin Getting $100,000 to Speak at the Tea Party National Convention?

This morning, I asked whether Sarah Palin?s decision to speak at the Tea Party National Convention ? while (so far) eschewing the much higher-profile Conservative Political Action Conference ? had anything to with money. [UPDATE: Palin skipped CPAC in 2009 and has not said yes or no to the conference this year. It's held two weeks after the Tea Party event.] Conservative blogger Dan Riehl is reporting, based on ?forwarded communications,? that Palin is making at least $75,000 and at most $100,000 for her speech. Tickets for the speech alone are going for $349 ? tickets for the whole convention are $549.

?I?d speculate that Palin?s making at least $35,000 or $50,000, with $50,000 being more likely? said Eric Odom, executive director of the American Liberty Alliance, which is doing a promotional exchange for the convention. ?I mean, Glenn Beck charges $60,000, $70,000 and a private jet.? He wasn?t planning this part of the convention, but he supported the Palin booking and argued that the convention was ?as grassroots as it gets.?
Still, no one disputes that Palin is getting a healthy fee for appearing at the conference ? and that?s a big difference between this and CPAC.
?We don?t pay honorarium, travel or hotel expenses for any speakers, past or future,? said Lisa de Pasquale, the director of CPAC.
While the cheapest ticket to the Tea Party Convention?one that doesn?t include the final banquet and dinner speech from Palin?costs $349, a basic CPAC ticket costs $175.

WorldNetDaily and Palin, Together At Last

I was surprised that Sarah Palin, who has twice passed on chances to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference, agreed to keynote the National Tea Party Convention. Undoubtedly the Tea Party event has more to offer her financially?tickets for her speech, as I reported last month, are selling for $349. But while CPAC is a well-established event with a filter for extremism, the Tea Party event is an unknown quantity. And right on cue, the conspiracy-minded site WorldNetDaily is joining the program, with Editor-in-Chief Joseph Farah getting a plum Friday night speaking slot.
To be asked to speak at the first national tea party convention is a great honor for me. I believe the tea party movement is a powerful and righteous social and political force that can help take America back from the grips of out-of-control and tyrannical central government. It?s also a personal privilege for me to be on the same bill with Gov. Sarah Palin and so many other distinguished leaders and friends such as Judge Roy Moore, Rep. Michele Bachmann and Phil Valentine.
Two months ago Farah appeared on the same stage as Bachmann and other conservative House Republicans to promote WND?s ?pink slip? campaign against Congress, and political reporters pretty much ignored it. And WND has sponsored CPAC in the past. But CPAC has explicitly ruled out a ?birther? forum at this year?s event, and some Republican activists have called for conservatives to cut ties with the birth certificate and conspiracy-obsessed WND. And here you?ll have Sarah Palin, giving her first political speech in months, on the same stage as Joseph Farah.

Re: Sarah Palin: It's War, not a Crime Spree (Sarah kicks the Kenyan's sore booty once again!!)

You see tank, most voters don't care about the inside baseball stuff we post on this forum -- too busy driving the kids to soccer practice, attending church and struggling to make a living in this horrifically depressing (literally!) economy.

Sarah's latest facebook post wherein she smacks the Kenyan senseless mocking the Kenyan's laughable kumbaya approach of defeating our enemies, coupled with him treating terrorists like they robbed the corner liquor store ("It's war, not a crime spree!") is the kind of calm wisdom that resonates with the American people.

It is absolutely horrifying to think that everything Sarah prophetically warned us about at her RNC speech last fall is unfolding right before our eyes.

I don't care what party you belong to, Hussein's $100 million show trial in NYC for the mastermind of 9/11 is the most asinine and insulting policy since...well, since the "stimulus package." 2348ji23e

CPAC = RINOfest. Keene endorsed Allen Specter in 2003. Of course, you being the one always bitching that "both parties are the same"...I guess you're okay with that kind of genius political foresight, right?

CPAC's speakers will include Mitt Romney (RomneyCare), Ron Paul ("Americans are imperialists!!!") and the usual collection of washed up GOP retreads. CPAC's list of confused combination of interests which do not strike a chord with the majority of Americans, let alone conservatives, include the militant sodomite group "GOProud". For all I know George Soros will be in attendance. 2938u4ji23

This watered down John McCain-like "big tent" approach is all wrong and a proven loser.

The only "tent" the Republican party should be pitching is...

THE
CONSTITUTION TENT!!!

That's right, no more catering to this special interest or that grievance group at our expense. Leave all the malcontent losers to the Kenyan and the Democrats who can't see the coming political tsunami.

You believe in the Constitution -- the Washingtonian free spirit of a free people living under God -- come and join us.

White, black, Latino...come one, come all.

Just be sure to check your ethnic banners and pet cause(s) at the door because Americans are tired of all this dysfunctional divisive BS -- the secret corrupt backroom deals that benefit one group at the expense of another.

Sarah Palin, Doug Hoffman, Lt Col Allen West, Patricia Sullivan, Marco Rubio, Michael Williams....the list grows everyday.

These are the fresh new faces of the Republican Party and America.

I hear Democrats whining that Republicans are "the party of NO".

So is the Constitution.

The Founders would REJECT EVERY LAST ONE of their Stalinist experiments bankrupting future generations. :finger004

It's no accident the Tea Parties are the fastest growing and most popular political group in the country right now. Tea Parties will shape American politics for decades to come.

My message to Tea Party Conservatives is this:

Don't form a third party. Storm the GOP! Kick all the RINOs to the curb -- or allow them to join our cause....our great vision for America.

During the debates last fall, that buffoon John McLame looked into the camera and told Americans that all those millions of jobs we've lost under the statists ain't coming back. IS HE KIDDING? :doh1

Of course they'll come back -- and millions and millions of new jobs just like them.

How?

SMASH LIBERALISM!

Get government off our backs! Smash taxes! Smash spending! Smash regulations! Smash the EPA! Smash the Dept of Education! Smash every bureaucracy and feel-good leftist program standing in the way of American ingenuity and the entrepreneurial spirit -- the greatest collection of DOERS in the history of humanity who HIRE all those brilliant Ivy League theorists.

Today the hierarchy in the GOP is at a crossroads. Like Ray Kinsella in the movie "Field of Dreams" they hear voices, but are unsure what to make of them and afraid to act.

Well, my message is as simple as it is powerful:

If YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME

If you build a party that stands on the shoulders of the giants who founded the greatest nation on Earth -- the ones who risked their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor -- people will come.

People will come in numbers that will blow away the "experts" because "experts" only see what's in front of them. They don't understand Adam Smith's "invisible hand" and the American spirit. The same group of "intellectuals" who worship at the alters of Darwinism and Gorebull Warning ridicule and dismiss those of us guided by a power beyond this material world.

That's okay, they didn't understand Reagan's popularity either.

Don't fret.

Don't frown.

Don't appease the losers.

Because they won't get it.

Ever.

Ever.
Sadly this is why I do not see the GOP gaining any ground. It's nuts like this that have no clue defining the party .
