Yesterday I lost two games I really liked -
Washington as a small dog with Fister pitching at SD with Ross pitching.
After a two hour rain delay, it was obvious Fister didn't have his stuff, what with giving up 5 runs in the first two innings after which he was pulled.
Yanks with Whitley (decent nos.) as small fave at Tampa with Ramirez, basically a reliever. Who'd a guessed the guy would last 5 innings with zero runs allowed for his first W in 25 games?
Lost another game I'm still wondering about. Minnesota at Detroit went from +147 to+165 in no time flat. Guess I should've realized something was up. Anybody got a clue?
