Re: SSI's MLB 2009
1. you must have a well defined bankroll setup, one that your not afraid to use, much in the same way that you use poker chips in a tourney. in some ways think of the season as a long tourney.
2. this bankroll should eventually reach 200 units... not the standard 100 units, as thats too small and your intitial wagers will be too large.. i now have over a 200 unit bankroll, just for baseball.
3. overall record means nothing, im quite surprised, my win % is as high as it is (56.6%), anything around (50%) will do for baseball, if you wager correctly.
4. forget handicapping (INDIVIDUAL GAMES), this will not work for baseball or the nba or nhl (regular season only) but does not include football.
5. write a business Plan, from the start.... the best meaning of money management is: (knowing the amount of your next wager, before your last wager is finished). i have this down to a science now.
6. check your EGO at the door (no explanation needed).
7. Do Not Flat Bet (have a well defined betting pattern) (A Plan)
sorry for rambling, had a little time today..
