When I was taking action this was the type of drivel I loved hearing from players.Brand new series now. Lighting win tomorrow and all that hype were for nothing. They each just held serve.
TB feeling good about themselves again.
Congrats to anyone who jumped on the Lightning down 0-2.
Possible huge payday just ahead.
Avs plan was going good till someone punched them in the mouth last night.
As Mike Tyson once said.
Experience and coaching come will come into play much more now with each remaining game that's left.
Something the Lightning has a huge edge.
Avs have been knocked out of the last 3 playoffs by inferior teams.
Last night's loss was the 1st time these playoffs some doubt crept back into their psyche.
St Louis 2 wins in round 2 were both on Avs' home ice so they know they are not invincible there.
If their not thinking Lightning twice the team the Blues are they ought to be.
You’re no longer taking action for a reason either. When I was taking action this was the type of drivel I loved hearing from players.
His team was the victim of a bad call by the officials. What was incorrect about that? Just curious. The more I listen to Jon Cooper the less respect I have for him.
His little speech last night was overly dramatic and incorrectly painted his team as huge victims of bad officiating.
He comes off as a drama queen trying to give an Oscar performance with that nonsense.
He’s also been known to make condescending remarks to reporters who’ve been away or who appear with new haircuts.
Pompous and arrogant behaviour with personal remarks like that is uncalled for.
I would give more credit to Yzerman than Cooper for building this team.Jon Cooper’s record speaks for itself. He’s one of the top two or three coaches in the league.
Cue 'Running On Empty' by Jackson Browne for TB....
Both the Celtics and Lightning had to work way too hard in earlier rounds.
Both had nothing left in the tank by the time they got to this point in their respective Finals.

Keep digging yourself deeper. Jesus Christ. Yzerman's is/was the GM. Cooper coaches the team guy.I would give more credit to Yzerman than Cooper for building this team.
Cooper was just handed the keys to a Porsche Cayman and understands to stay out of their way.
Jon Cooper is basically Fredo in GF2 and the TB Lightning players are Moe Green.
Had nothing to do with that and everything to do with the injuries they suffered mid-game as well as the previous game. By the time they got to overtime they were a shell of the team that got them there. Cirelli, Paul, Kucherov, Point, Cernak. Both the Celtics and Lightning had to work way too hard in earlier rounds.

Don't leave out the fact the Avs had 6 skaters on the ice at the time of the goal if keeping track of reasons. The OT was five on one....you can only be Ken Drydenesque so long.
That same play happens numerous times a game and never gets called but yeah technically you're right there were 6 Avs and 7 lighting players on the ice.Don't leave out the fact the Avs had 6 skaters on the ice at the time of the goal if keeping track of reasons.
I put a little more on them as well. Those odds are just too juicy to bet against this team. Am concerned about the injuries though. Let's see what coach Cooper is really made of.I am satisfied Colorado beat them fair and square. I am not ready to concede. Lightning was down exact 1-3 spot Toronto. I expect them to go all balls tomorrow night. I will be betting game, series next 1, 2 or 3 games.
From his wiki,Keep digging yourself deeper. Jesus Christ. Yzerman's is/was the GM. Cooper coaches the team guy.
Might be time to check out of this thread. You're pretty clueless.
lol. no one arguing Yzerman didn't do a hell of a job helping get the Bolts where they are today. You said Cooper was a team builder. He's a coach numbNutz! lol. Coaches don't build or help put together teams in any way even close to what a GM does. I don't blame you one bit for being done discussing pucks with me though. You're WAY out of your league dude. From his wiki,
Yzerman would draft Nikita Kucherov, Andrei Vasilevskiy, Brayden Point, Ondrej Palat, Anthony Cirelli, and Callan Foote, sign undrafted players Tyler Johnson and Yanni Gourde, and acquired Ryan McDonagh, Mikhail Sergachev, Erik Cernak, and Patrick Maroon.
He also hired and mentored current Tampa GM Julien BriseBois.
If you’re too dense to appreciate how important these acquisitions by Yzerman have been to the team, I’m done discussing pucks with you.
As for Cooper, he’s basically a hybrid of Don Cherry, Mike Keenan, and Fred Shero.
They were 3 dubious coaches who won with superstar filled rosters too.
Be sure and let me know who is a better current NHL than Jon Cooper right now. Take your time. Use Wiki if you like.Cooper totally overreacts and tries to put the blame on the refs for a play that literally happens countless times throughout a game and this clown wants to congratulate him for it.
I will give coach credit for walking it back the next day and realizing that he had just let his emotions get the best of him.
Bushay I know reading comprehension isn't your strong suit but if you could point out where I even vaguely suggested that Cooper wasn't a good coach maybe I could go back and walk you through it.Be sure and let me know who is a better current NHL than Jon Cooper right now. I know reading comprehension isn't your strong suit but if you could point out where I even vaguely came across as "a weak sniveling crybaby" maybe I could go back and walk you through it.Bushay I know reading comprehension isn't your strong suit but if you could point out where I even vaguely suggested that Cooper wasn't a good coach maybe I could go back and walk you through it.
FWIW Just heard Bednars press conference and not a word about the terrible onesided officiating, and I know this is going to come as a surprise to you (a weak sniveling crybaby) but that's how a man handles a loss.
