As Fall slowly comes to the farm, a familiar squeal rises from the trees down by the pond...

It is of course the annual appearance of the NFL's most OUTSTANDING handicapper:

THE AWESOME POSSUM!



America's best known and beloved four-legged rodent is here only at EOG for the 2008 football season. Verifiably tracked in excess of 77.3% each of the past 12 years by the Sports Monitor of Crabwell Corners, the AWESOME POSSUM will appear each week to share his picks with football fans across this great land of ours.

Each and every Wednesday morning, our hero will come down from his home in the blue spruce high above the pond. He will be presented with two of Mrs. Hoffa's award winning corn muffins for each and every NFL match-up. Whichever muffin he consumes will be the winner of that game AGAINST THE SPREAD! Should the AWESOME POSSUM fail to choose a muffin, there will be no play on that game.

Last year right here at EOG the AWESOME POSSUM went 55-38, 59.13% and +16.33 units.
